As much as i would have liked Arsenal to win the league, somewhat satisfying seeing that wee greeting fanny Pedro Perro being the player who has gifted them it after Doku took the utter piss out of him

Normally I wouldn't care but this makes me happy.

Honestly man, I fucking hate commentary at the best of times,  but these two have invented a situation where Spurs fans don't want their team to win - they're actually crediting any noise to fans forgetting the situation.

    Get in the fucking sea.

According to their forum they don't. Some are losing it at the thought of winning.

    They should be happy now.

If I were a Man Utd fan I'd want to lose this game, Man City setting the record for most consecutive league titles is surely much worse than Arsenal winning.

Seems to be the general consensus in the pub watching this, watching with around 50 others and I'd say about 30 odd are Utd fans, City fans hoping for a Utd win, Utd fans wanting to win but as soon as the goal went in immediately decided that was for the best.

As has been pointed out in the pub, Spurs fans will have this same dilemma on Tuesday.

Bizarrely I remember watching this in the 'Caley Bar' in Tenerife and having a bet of a packet of cigarettes when it went to penalties, with Jock the DJ, I took Romania and he wisely took Sweden...

    Just saw this post.

Jock has been touring Scotland recently with a couple of other Tenerife acts, sure he's in Rutherglen and Aberdeen soon.

On FB its under Whiskey Jar Tenerife Nights.

Gogic. For the longest time, I've just thought of him as a useless clogger. A brute with very limited talents but decent enough in a scrap.

He fairly shut my puss today. Didn't lose a single header. Calmly dribbled past our attacking players when we were pressing him and was like a true leader for St Mirren at the back.

I thought he was brilliant for St Mirren against Rangers, a proper leader and good on the ball.

I think today we missed Shaughnessy for exactly the same reasons but can have no complaints.

    Thank you.

Just witness some peak gammon behaviour, a grown man on Facebook saying BBC are box ticking for casting the lead role of the main character on Death In Paradise to a black man

    Oh no!

I wouldn’t be surprised if he did this deliberately to get some attention and appeal to those who think he is a lovable buffoon!

It was performance art from the fat cùnt. In a week he knows is going to be terrible for Sunak and the Tories he's getting his name mentioned in SM and on TV etc.

He'll want to be ready to ride back in when the Tories are fucked at the GE.

    Fat cùnt.

The late Alan Gordon scoring one of a hat-trick in a 3-0 win over Dumbarton in the old First Division in April 1974.:His second hat-trick of the season,as he scored all of Hibs goals in a 3-3 draw with Dundee in March. Dundee winning the replay at Dens 3-0 in front of 30,888. Have a feeling there hasn’t been a higher crowd at Dens since then, Alan Gordon played for Hearts, Hibs, Dundee and Dundee United. Picture from cover of the Hibs v Arbroath prgramme from Arbroath Archive.

The 3-3 game was my first away game, sure there was nearly 30,000 at that game, plus all the sneaky ins, like me.

The 3-0 replay was brilliant, absolutely packed, I normally went behind the goals but that night was against the pitch wall at the top of the Derry steps, don't think I've felt a better atmosphere at Dens.

    Dundee better worry.

Only four league games left for these VAR wrong decisions to even themselves out over the season so surely we're due to be gifted one or two utter howlers our way on Saturday.

In all honesty, we should be at least 4 points better off from those decisions that SPFL have admitted they got wrong which is truly frustrating.

On the plus side, we actually have justification for being the most moaning faced supporters in the league.

Incredible that with the benefit of extra refs, cameras, time etc. that VAR still manages to get 26 decisions completely wrong.

That level of incompetence is quite impressive.

    Similar to Hibs last season.
Start with a minow - they got a team from Andorra. Win that and get a tougher team, they got Luzern from Switzerland which they won too, before getting bodied by Villa in the playoff round.

Worth going for then even though I'd guess the first round will end up in the middle of my holiday to Turkey, unless we get a Turkish team in which case the missus will need to manage to entertain herself for a couple of days.

On another note there can't be many that can say they've seen Dundee and St. Mirren play in Europe, I've seen Dundee a few times but I was also lucky enough to be at the St. Mirren v Feyenoord game in 83, I went with an Arab mate I was at college with, we went to see Johan Cruyff who didn't disappoint.

    Sunday will finish 3-3.

Was at the ADO Den Haag - FC Eindhoven game on Saturday and did ponder who in their right mind supports FC rather than PSV.  I guess Rotterdam is split in areas like Feyenoord south of the river so the three teams there make a bit of sense, but must be tough going supporting the blue team in Eindhoven!

I lived in Eindhoven from 2007 to 2012, I went to a lot of PSV games but after a few months of going with my ex's family I decided that PSV didn't need me and started going to see FC. Eindhoven.

I had a season ticket from 2008 till I left and loved it, I was there for their centenary and also once when they reached the play offs. I do wonder what they'd do if they got promoted though, they are not geared up to staying there.

Their fans more or less ignore the fact that PSV exist, their rivalry is with Helmond.
