  1. I'll be voting YES without any hesitation, too long has this country been ruled by people who don't give a shit about it, who don't live in it and couldn't care less about it other than the revenue it can generate for the treasury.

It's time for Scotland to prosper and grow, not be stripped of all it's resources, raped and pillaged and always the first to have cuts imposed on it under the tyrannical english tories.

  2. The transfer embargo should be applied immediately, Sevco shouldn't be allowed to sign anyone at all for an absolute minimum of one season and for every year thereafter where their footballing debts are not paid in full.

To allow Sevco a time frame to sign players i.e. Until 1st September would be wrong and gives them a benefit of actually taking the SFA to court. The embargo must be applied immediatley.

  3. At the end of the day, the SPL/SFA have been guilty of misleading everyone throughout this fiasco, figures quoted in relation to the loss of broadcasting revenues are just that, a total loss of broadcasting revenues. That just isn't going to happen, there will always be someone willing to pay for broadcasting rights. If clubs have set themselves up in such a way where they are spending way beyond their means and are solely reliant on Rangers/Newco being in the SPL and the television money that surely is bad financial management on their behalf. SFL clubs normally aren't afforded such luxury but tend to, as a hole, live within their means.

The corruption in the governing bodies has now been made public but merely shows what we all have known for a long time, Scottish football is corrupt to it's very core.

Regan, Doncaster, Topping et al. have to go and they have to go now, they are destroying the game here, all others outer in these leaked documents should also be hounded out of the game, they are equally as bad.

I can't wait to find out what the next enthralling episode brings about on Monday, Doncaster & Regan will be putting a shift in with their advisors over the weekend to attempt to turn this situation around.

  4. Interesting line at the bottom of the article, yes it's possible but any new club to the league WOULD NEED TO START AT THE BOTTOM.

It's all pretty far fetched though but something those idiots that run the game here should take note of, Rangers or Newco would disappear to England given half a chance, I hope it happens, then what would Regan, Doncaster et al do ? That would just be too funny.

  5. This charade is being brought to the attention of Uefa/Fifa who are currently using "sporting integrity" as their buzz words, it's plastered all over their websites etc. anyway, does anyone think that they'll actually do anything in relation to the rigged, corrupt nature of the administration of the game here ?

I honestly think there's even more to come out in relation to the liquidation of Rangers but this nonsense is keeping it all in the background and it's all being hushed up until the SFL have accepted the poisened chalice that is Sevco into the first division.

There's a lot more going on than we are being made aware of, of that I'm sure and even more being swept under the carpet.

  6. This farce is now becoming ridiculous, and it's all for one cheating club. Scottish football stands on the verge of extinction, not because Sevco will be voted into the first contrary to all reasonable and fair actions but as soon as that happens ALL power in the game will lie in the hands of an organisation hell bent in obliterating the Diddy clubs and consigning them to the annuls of history.

The proposals for the SPFL just add insult to injury, there should be one club, one vote not the convoluted A shares and B Shares nonsense.

This is the beginning of the end for all Diddy clubs, they must act now or they won't have a future.

Can nobody see exactly what's going on here ?

  7. If the posturing of the chairman of Kilmarnock FC turns out to be correct, then we shall very soon see how a non Glasgow big team are treated in an insolvency event.

If, after Friday, Sevco are a first division team, every club with debts should put themselves into administration, 10 point deduction or in the event of liquidation and a newco, a place in the first division awaits.

  8. im still very chuffed that my own views on everything were actually mirrored almost word for word by my clubs chairman,he gets such a hard time from our support but i regularly find myself agreeing with what he says.

& also as ive already said its not my clubs fault the vote is set up to be rigged so i couldn't bring myself to hurt them off the back of it

i do understand however why that isn't popular, but if i have sent an email asking my club to vote them into SFL3 at highest & they do i struggle to see how i could justify(to myself) a boycott (of home games)

the clubs involed in the process of picking such a question yes i most likely would refuse to give my cash though

i dont understand the problem with my stance ,would someone mind trying one more time to explain why they believe this to be wrong?

That is exactly what those in control of the game are banking on, they've not only put pressure on the clubs themselves but the true fans of the clubs involved, they've totally reversed the situation and turned it against us i.e. Sporting integrity has a price, do you, the fans, want to punish your clubs for the wrong doings at Ibrox and I think that is why everyone is so rattled about it. It makes a total mockery of any fairness, any rule book and shows beyond any reasonable doubt that football in this country is purely for the benefit of a certain two Glasgow based clubs, anyone else is insignificant. I can't imagine that had it been any other club the consequences would have been instant and terminal.

If there is an expansion of the SPL and a total restructuring of the game to be gained and fairer distribution of the money in the game that could be a starting point for the future, however, that should happen as a matter of course, not as some last ditch attempt to buy Sevco's presence in the top tier of the SFL.

Threatening SFL clubs to influence a vote should be enough to attract the attention of the governing bodies, it should be shouted from every tree-top just exactly what's going on here, no club should permit themselves to be used as a patsy, it cannot, under any circumstance, be allowed - SFL clubs should either vote NO or destroy the process altogether by delaying and delaying the process for as long as they can, ousting Longmuir, the SFL board, complaining to Uefa or whoever but not one of them should allow their names to be attached to this folly, it is a major stitch up by the SFA, SPL and SFL.

  9. The clubs can vote, they'll vote to accept Newco into the SFL and they'll then be over-ruled and Newco will get placed in the first division.

If Fifa/Uefa don't get involved and stop this ALL SFL clubs should vote NO to allowing Newco into the league altogether.

This is farce beyond farce, crooked and corrupt, they cannot allow themselves to be bullied into allowing newco to enter the league anywhere other than at the bottom level.

No club in the world who has been liquidated has started anywhere other than the bottom league of their respective countries, no matter what. It would be a dangerous precedent to allow this to happen now.

  10. So we'll now have a full week of Neil Cockwomble Doncaster pressuring the SFL clubs to say Yes to Sevco entering SFL1. Here's hoping that by then we can get fifteen SFL clubs to nail their colours to the mast of the NO camp.

By my reckoning we can already count on: Raith Rovers, Clyde, Dunfermline, Stranraer, Stirling Albion, Peterhead and Partick Thistle. Any others?

I'm ashamed to say my own club hasn't yet came out with a statement anything like what we've seen from the clubs mentioned above (if anything our statement was almost a confirmation of a Yes vote for SFL1), but our small fanbase seem to be doing everything in our power to encourage our board to doing the right thing!

Ayr United definitely will vote NO

  11. So, is evryone going to carry out their promise, never to return to a football match in this country after this stitch-up ?

It was all only going to end one way with the length of time it's taken to come to a decision.

If Rangers Newconare playing anywhere else other than the 3rd Division next season I, for one, will never attend another football match in this country, it's pointless, the league is corrupt and the rules are only there for teams outwith the Old Firm.

f**k the SFA, SPL and the SFL if they vote this in, it's an insult to the clubs who live within their means and to the long suffering fans of non-Old Firm clubs that have to put up with being treated one step below dog shite by not only the governing bodies but also, it would seem, by their own clubs who have chased the dream, being paying over the top wages for crap players in a bid to keep up with a club that cheated for decades by bringing in players they couldn't afford.

Sorry, sporting integrity does matter, the rules are the rules, Newco must start in Division 3, no ifs, buts or excuses.

If other clubs who have got themselves into financial bother by buying into the SPL monopoly, tough, they should place themselves into administration with immediate effect and as for Sky, just where do they feature in the rule book ?, cheats are cheats, end of.

  12. Me too. Although the tributes to him on the Ayr United facebook page made him look like Mourinho.

You seriously don't want Brian Reid, the mans an idiot, a negative, clueless idiot. Loads of players in the game wouldn't play under the arrogant tosser.

Turnbull Hutton fucking ROCKS though, sure he'll get you the right man for the job.

  13. Jim Spence‏@bbcjimspence

SFL board to discuss proposals including newco tomorrow. EGM can be called within 5 days. 23 clubs needed to vote newco in to SFL

I've just thought of something that could complicate things here. Who gets to vote on the potential election of Newco/Spartans/Cove etc? Surely it can't be all 30 existing SFL clubs? I would have assumed it would be the 29 SFL clubs who will still be in the SFL next season? Meaning the SFL would need to know which club will be in the SPL instead of the first next season?

No chance 23 SFL clubs will vote Newco into the first division, it's got to be the 3rd or a NO vote.

  14. What's happening with the SFA's punishment to Rangers.

Last we heard was the the courts rules the transfer embargo was not allowed and put it back to the appeals panel - why has this appeals panel not sat yet ?

I know there is the issue with the oldco / newco. But as far as I understand the oldco are still in existence and still officially only in administration - so surely the SFA should be looking at what punishment is being handed out here - cos as it seems at the moment with Rangers taking the them to court the SFA seem to have backed down!

Also would any punshment handed out be transfer between oldco to newco? Is it the SFA membership that gets punished or the company?

Basically, everything is being put on hold until they can manufacture a solution that is beneficial to SEVCO, sad but true.

  15. If Rangers go anywhere but out the door altogether the official bodies in this country should face the firing squad. The news I'm reading this morning regarding Rangers Newco being put straight into SFL 1 is making me sick to the pit of my stomach.

I take it ALL SFL clubs from 1st - 3rd would need to vote in favour of this happening ?

I can't see many 3rd or 2nd Division clubs voting for Newco to enter the 1st Division, I can't see Falkirk, Livingston or Dunfermline voting them in but I could see Cowdenbeath (duh !), Dumbarton, Partick, Morton all being definite YES votes - 23 No's. I don't think the motion would carry, they'd need to be put in the 3rd Division. If SFL clubs sell their souls for a one-off payment they'll deserve all the problems they'll get in the future when the real fans abandon them for being a bunch of Judas b*****ds.
