  1. Solid performance by Elgin and deserving a point against 'super' Kelty. Officials were very poor again, falling for Kelty's play acting, going down and rolling into a ball after the slightest touch, then up on their feet quickly after getting the free kick. Omar unlucky with 2 soft yellows brought on by over-reactions. Nothing between the teams and hard to believe they are so far apart in league standings. Sensible to take Kane off after his yellow card before being drawn into a second.

  2. Coming off the Erskine Bridge southbound, where the motorway splits - left lane for Glasgow, right for Greenock and the twat in front of me (in the left lane) realises at the last second he's supposed to going right. When I say last second I actually mean already at the solid white lines with the chevrons between. Stands on the brakes then starts to indicate right but it's too busy to cross over and he (or she) comes to a complete standstill, luckily gets on to the chevrons leaving space for the rest of us to get by on the left. Saw him still there in my mirror as I disappeared around the corner towards the M8.

Went along today as previously mentioned. One of my mates just missed out on the 50/50 draw and £92, whoever bought a ticket before him won it:lol:

Elgin should have been well ahead at half time and 3-0 or 4-0 wouldn't have been an unfair half time score, first goal was a fluke a cross which went in off the post but the second was well worked.

City were much improved in the second half with the Elgin keeper making two great saves, but I thought Elgin should have got a  penalty but instead Dodd got booked. City penalty was a stonewaller and I thought they may have grabbed a point after that but not too be.

Can't argue with that summary, Edinburgh were much better in the 2nd half and it was a nervous end to the game for Elgin. Happy to take 3 points away from home but the officials today were incredibly bad throughout the match. Meadowbank's looking a bit sad these days and it doesn't seem a great place to watch football. Another one ticked off the list though!

  4. I'll update ours properly from home at some point when I have all the info but we haven't played Celtic since then so they are still top. It's now more than 25 years since we played Celtic. We've played Hearts 5 times in the last couple of seasons but Elgin City, East Stirling, Motherwell and Montrose haven't been played and would still be in our top five.

2014 League Cup first round, Queen of the South demolished Elgin 5-0 at Palmerston. Memorable as I was one of only 3 Elgin fans there!

  5. I don't see the fuss with people struggling to drive in it, surely if my clio can do it then most cars can.

Clios are great cars in the snow, I've pushed half a dozen stuck cars around here, my Clio has been in and out without missing a beat. Most people's problem is they think spinning their wheels faster and faster will get them through snow. Eeejits... :P
