I'm sure young Andy will be fully aware that after the magnificent hungarians defeated Scotland 4-2 at Hampden in 1954, the great puskas had this to say about his grandad: "It was the most magnificent display of wing play I have ever seen..." Andy and his pals contributed to a wonderful atmosphere in hospitality on Saturday...

Aye, he might have mentioned it once or twice...

    thanks Rob

  2. Afternoon folks. My good pal Andrew Mackenzie has his stag today (home leg) at Firhill today. We've set him up with a twitter page where he has to ask a variety of questions. See page 21 of your match day programme.

Please tweet some nonsense questions to @askandyptfc. He's facing some forfeits for anything unanswered

Nae luck re COVID, I hope it’s a mild dose, but yeah the streaming service is good. It’s not Pixelot, the camerawork’s pretty good ( so is the pitch, by the way!😜) and it’s generally agreed that Gerry McDaid and Andy Ritchie make a great commentary team.  Hope you enjoy it (but not much!)!  👍

Thanks mate. Mild at the moment thankfully. I am informed that Mortons pitch has grass on it. An interesting concept.

  4. Cheers lads, will fork up the cash

It's the best in the league I'd say.

Pixellot got binned in the summer. Now two manually operated cameras with replays offered as well. As Malkmus says you'll have a lot of Tokely chatting away but he and Ian Auld work well together by all accounts. So far, fingers crossed, there haven't been too many technical issues...

Worth the extra dosh for sure if you can't make it.

It's a pretty decent stream with two fairly high quality cameras. The commentary is usually pretty balanced but expect lots of Ross Tokely talking about transitions and Lewis Nicolson.

Partick deserved the 3 points without having to be particularly good.No excuses for our not very good first half performances as even with players missing our starting 11 was fairly strong.Bene was more than an able replacement for Lang and only Varian who we missed for his  work rate and holding up the ball  being the other.

Once we lost Berra for what looked like a stupid challenge from somebody with that experience its was an uphill battle

Dont think we,ve been anywhere near our best in our last 4 games,Caley,Arbroath,Killie and Partick but we,re still sitting in a great position in the league at this stage of the season.

    A long way to go
