Hamill deserves a chance to get things sorted as he hasn't had long to get players in and playing his way. Up until today its gone as well as can be realistically expected given circumstances. Today I thought the team looked a bit lightweight with too many players of a similar style. Team crying out for a striker who can lead the line, hold the ball up, bring others into play, add a little experience and net a few goals but these players don't come cheap. The team today still tried to play the right way and gave of effort so fingers crossed today wasn't a sign of things to come.
Annan scored a couple of nice goals and were the more balanced team.

Been allocated two tickets for the knockout match in Glasgow but can’t find any details re kick off time. Maybe not decided yet. Anyone hazard a guess when cause if it’s too early would struggle to make it.

Sitting second overall just now but doubt that’s going to last long! Oops think this is for something different.

Played for Tarff when Robert Burns was there. The guy spent a lot of money on the club but sadly it lost its local roots and no longer exists. Was surprised nobody came in and saved it - they got a reasonable set up by south standards.

Stranraer v Rovers
in Scottish League 2 General Chatter

Stranraer by far the better team today and only poor finishing and a little bad luck stopped the score looking more impressive. Shouldn't have needed to be heading for the corner flags in the last few minutes of the match. All in all though some signs of improvement and don't think relegation will be a concern. On this showing Albion Rovers could have worries in that respect.
