  1. Things are so bad they held Preston today 1-1 having led 1-0 at HT...

Credit to Craigroyston today. They held on for a result against us yesterday when we huffed & puffed, but never looked like breaking them down. They wanted it more all over the park & thought Jnr was outstanding against his former club. Incecdentaly he was the same for arniston in the 2-1 defeat at the pennypitt. We weren’t great, but how arniston are getting gunbbed 10-0 from other sides is beyond me. Well done.
  2. Sinky’s up there with the best in the league. Is there a team in our league that has 2 better keepers?

Having worked with both keepers, Tranent are spoilt for choice. Sinky will brush this off. Top goalie & guy.
  3. Maybe you're thinking of U21s? Because in 2014-15 there were only seven U20s and none of them were Musselburgh! https://www.eosfl.com/item.php?frmft=True&pg=league&pd=1049&fsea=6&fcomplgeShowAll=&fexpand=&fhidegrp=&it=79

Musselburgh were part of the 19’s eos league when it was a Sunday. Lasted a season. Ended up having a cracking side, but the hierarchy pulled the plug on it. John mcglynn used to help take the side along with a few other decent coaches
  4. (Thu) Dunipace 2-1 Oakley Utd

    (Mon) Pathhead 0-3 Leith Athletic

    (Tue) Berwick Rangers 2-0 Coldstream

Anyone know Tranent Ams v Arniston score from Saturday?

Original listing updated with results and fixtures.

Another huge Tweedmouth derby hastily arranged for tonight: regrettably, no 'agricultural puns'.

    3-0 Tranent ams
  5. I've watched Sean playing since he was about 10 when he was at Hutchy and my son Tommy was at Tynie. Excellent player with an excellent attitude. Ironically the best game I've saw him play for Gala was his last game against East Stirlingshire where he was the best player on the park. All the best Sean, except when you play the Dean of course.

Ran into young tommy when my club played gala in a cup earlier this season. Never recognised him. I used to coach him at Tynecastle along with Andy C. Turned into a lovely young man
  6. Try not to post on p&b a lot unless it’s positive, but it’s a tough gig to take on at anytime never mind half way through the season.

Try judge Johnny as of next season when he’s had a decent kick of the ball at building a squad & getting his ideas across & more of his own players in.

Not everyone’s cup of tea as a gaffer, but he’s a very well driven manager, believes in his principles & will work his tail off to try turn things around.

Wish him all the best & hope he proves a few folk wrong!

    Match Report

A Craig Malcolm double secured EK's passage to R4 of the South Regional Challenge Cup at the expense of Leith Athletic at Peffermill on Saturday.

The captain struck in third minute after a Liam Craig cross, and netted a penalty two minutes from time after Ross McNeil was fouled.

BJ Coll saw a late red card after a second booking, but it is Kilby who will be in the hat for the Round 4 draw.

    How did Leith perform?
  8. The legend that is Jordan Caddow had joined Dalkeith Thistle.
Can't blame the lad for wanting first team football but he'd been with City on and off for years. East of Scotland League winners medal and two Lowland League winners medal and also played in the Scottish League- no bad for a torn faced bugger ()

    Lovely lad & good pal.

    Wish him all the best.

He’ll be a standout at EOS next season
