I believe appointing DC will most likely stem the decline and he will stabilise the league position. However I fear that his appointment would  see the end of the youth system and we will no longer see the likes of Murray, Walls, Newton, Healy, Ramsay and others now on the brink with the U 20’s breaking through into the EF first team squad as DC will likely bring players in who will do a “short term” job for him and then leave. Just look at his track record at his previous clubs on blooding young and upcoming players.

So, short term ( to the end of the season) probably a safe and good appointment but long term , I have my doubts.

Just my opinion and views like.

I disagree as dick bought Aaron Steele from us at start of the season and has been actively trying to sign Healy and tried to sign a few others over the years…

I would always love to play our u20s but I think the jump up in league is massive and how it’s hard to integrate players into a bad team how can they learn or become better in a bad team.

i think we can have a team that’s well organised with experienced players for the younger players to learn from and to make us a better team in the long term. It’s easier for us to integrate 1-2 youngsters into a good team then integrate 3-4 players into a bad team as well as better training and coaching from a solid coaching team

  2. I'm amazed Doncaster still has a job.. If he had done as many cock ups down in England or any other league to be fair he would have had his p45 years ago. We always want to be able to compete at the highest level possible but don't we need out powers that be to have some brains at least to help and encourage not just do the easy option to the detriment of there own member clubs

  3. We ain't kicked a ball in a competitive game yet and most fans are complaining about players who have been signed. I'd assume that young and his team have watched there new signings for a while and think they will fit in to the type of team they want to play albeit unattractive but if it works then I don't care tbh but when you have fans complaining about the players we have got in when they ain't saw them play much or as playing together in our squad. Everyone knows we need an out and out striker but instead of belittling them and criticising us can't you do something unheard of by actually cheering us and encourage us which might make us play better or raise levels rather than boo them and lower morale

  4. Sounds like fans spitting dummy out as they ain't getting there own way, don't know many other teams that allow everyone and there dog to turn up and watch. Surely the new gaffer and/or the directors have decided to be more private and I'd say more professional so we need to respect there wishes and get behind the team and no find something else to moan about
