They have got this sooo wrong.

They could get away with charging this for a Derby, as most want to go and watch it, no matter the form. However £30 for a game against one of the ugly sisters is not appealing at all, they are not a pull.

Not the biggest shock in the world as that was what we were charging the last time we were in the Premiership.

25 note per game also cheaper than what we charged against Hibs.

Also doing bring a friend for Saturday as well, so hopefully anyone that wants to go but is put off by the price can get a voucher off a season ticket holder for a freebie.

How has Dundee's marketing improved since the Americans took over? I haven't seen any particularly interesting examples in what must be at least 5 years now.

    It's not.

Ground is a tip and gets worse every year.

    Ticketing system a shambles too.

Apart from mentioning a new stadium which nobody believes will happen, we don't do that much in trying to grow the club and get extra fans and money in.

That Scotland kit is a mess, although the previous one was smart.

Wouldn't be unhappy with a Macron kit, seem to be pretty well made and come up with decent designs.

Danger with getting Adidas or Nike is that we would be basically be ordering out a catalogue.

Early Puma efforts for us were decent but lately have become a bit cheap. Probably just a small thing but don't like how the badge is now just stuck on as opposes to being stitched in for first few seasons.

What did you make of it? I'm glad it's available to people without Sky and who aren't interested enough to get the Game Pass, and fair play to Chapman as he seems to be fairly knowledgeable. Not sure they had to have half time analysis (especially when they looked at players who then did more or had nightmares in the second half) and they only showed very brief highlights from one or two other tight games.

Redzone also on Sky Sports Mix this month. They were also showing hr long highlights of the three live Sky Sports game last Monday, hopefully that continues throughout the season.

Seeing all the kerfuffle about Joey 'Cigar-in-your-eye' Barton getting banned from The Rangers' training ground, have we ever had anything similar? Perhaps I'm too young but I'm not aware we've ever signed a similarly despicable character that even Dundee supporters found slightly odious.

Not exactly a training ground incident but Chic Charnley got sent off during the 7-2 hammering by St Johnstone for having a go at Robbie Raeside.

Argument then reignited in changing rooms at half time with punches being exchanged! Unfortunately Chico was never to play for the Dee again.

Wouldn't describe Chic as an odious character but he did come with a reputation and some baggage and in the end it ended acrimoniously.

Still have to say though, that Chic is still up there as one of the most talented players ive seen in the dark blue.

  6. Sure I got Premier Sports free during last years Copa.

Hopefully they do the same this year.

Are teams going to take this as seriously as they usually do with the Olympics being played this year too. Would imagine Brazil would rather win gold in Rio if they had choice.

Oh and no chance Argentina will win it....they will choke again. Uruguay for me.

  7. Undoubtedly the last few years are going down as Scottish football's darkest days. History will be manipulated to show that things got so bad after Rangers were cruelly demoted we had the ignominy of tiny little St.Johnstone, Ross County and Inverness winning trophies and, even worse, two of them representing us in Europe. It's probably the most embarrassing point of Scottish football since 9-3 at Wembley or 1-1 with Iran. Thank goodness the world's most successful club has returned to get Scotland back to it's rightful place and every supporter of the game north of the border is delighted to have them back where they belong.

    :barf

Had the misfortune to read Davie Provans column from Sunday in work today.

Apparently our league has resembled the Dog and Duck over the past 4 seasons and EVERY single club has suffered because of Rangers imploding. Tho Provan doesn't see it that way....Rangers were kicked out out of spite, when apparently a points deduction would have done.

Mental that people actually believe this nonsense.

I for one can't wait for normal service to resume and the OF to win every trophy. A small price to pay so we can gain the respect of the English....oh what's that they dont care.

  8. Suppose you are correct. Hopefully he rests a few defenders though. Give Kerr, Julen and even Gadz a go. They are capable of doing a job. Take Harkins and Hemmings off same as last night too. Celtic park is a big pitch and I'd really hope they have fresh legs for Saturday. Always the possibility of injuries too.

    Id be happy with that.

Give wighton and Arturo a run out as well.

Cant do any worse than last two visits to Celtic Park.

  9. Amazing that Greenock is mentioned a lot here. This place has amazing potential with its location and the scenery round about it. But it is indeed a right fuckin midden with the exception of the esplanade area near Gourock.

Port Glasgow is one horrible shitehole with a lovely view as well...

Clackmannanshire is full of shitehole inbred hictowns

Has Greenock seen any improvments with being a cruise ship destination?

Just wondering as I think Dundee are hoping to emulate that as part of the waterfront project.

  10. TDB is going downhill quite quickly. Thought it was decent to begin with but the whopper percentage is growing. The state people got themselves in over a 1-0 defeat at Aberdeen recently was ridiculous. My biggest bugbear though is Gedee spamming every thread with absolute drivel and being unable to form an opinion that isn't just an echo of the majority opinion on the forum.

A new paragraph every two lines is my biggest gripe.....f**k is that about.

  11. Didn't Channel 5 advertise a "Benefits Week" last year - supposedly a week of programmes dedicated to exploring the benefits system. It seems to extend into "Benefits Channel" - a channel dedicated to trashy programmes about benefits scroungers.

And the masses seem to lap it up.

FB etc always full of rage after these programmes about people seemingly living an amazing life while on benefits.

Yet these same ragers are quiet when it comes to the rich tax dodging or MPs expenses.

No wonder c***s like Cameron and Osbourne are laughing their cock off at the working classes.

  12. Loy was clearly pissed off at the end of the game on Saturday with the amount of game time he got. 4-1 up and cruising and with a game this Friday, Hemmings should of been off earlier and Loy giving a longer run out. Feel sorry for him as he's been decent this year but sadly got him, Hemmings is in great form.

Like you, most see where our problems lie apart from Hartley.

We have started winning games since Loy has been left out.

Team has more balance now, especially now GGH is playing off the front man than being wasted as a holding midfielder.

Also loving the fact we are much more direct in recent weeks.
