  1. I just hope Maiden play Download next year. Didn't have enough cash to go to Sonisphere since I was already going to Donington.

Instead of spending all that cash on Download, you should just spend less on going to a better festival! Like Metalcamp. Best fest i've ever been to. ridiculously hot weather with an amazingly cold/ refreshing river that runs through the bar area. knocks the hangover right out of you! Usually got a good line-up too. Although V. unlikely Maiden would play. The fact they played fests this summer makes it's highly unlikely they will be playing any fests at all next year.

  2. Found an abandoned childs bike with flat tyres on the way back from the pub a few months ago, had a wee shot on it, it was a bit ropey, nearly fell.

A couple of years ago when me and my pals were stumbling home from the pub we found one of these bad boys!

We called it "Old Betsy" an cycled it home. We kept it in my driveway for two days before drunkenly taking it out at 4am, getting in a race with another cyclist and crashing it into a burn. I miss that bike.

  3. Have you tried "The Haunted"? the band that the Bjorler brothers and Erlandsson formed after ATG broke up? Although Erlandsson doesn't play for them any more right enough...

Aye i'm not as big a fan of them as I am of At The Gates though, I thought Made me do it was a good album. I used to be well into my swedish melo-death a few years ago.

  4. but listening to Volbeat and devildriver most recently

Have a green dot, Volbeat are amazing! Really looking forward to seeing them in December.

Metal bands i've been listening to recently

    -Totalselfhatred

    -Pig Destroyer

    -At The Gates

  5. Gran Torino

I'm probably one of the few people who hadn't seen this film, Judging by the way my friends went on about it anyway. It's directed by and Stars Clint Eastwood, Most definately one of the better films i've seen recently. I'd probably put it in the same vein as Falling Down. Basically Clint Eastwood is a pissed off Korean war vet and is living in a neighbourhood which has recently become inhabited by a large majority of the Asian community. His next door neighbour is a young Asian teen who is forced by a gang into stealing Clint's 1972 Gran Torino, He fails and as the story goes Clint basically sets about reforming the boys life. Really enjoyable film which is also contains some of the best movie quotes ever!
