Why are some of the tweets using different languages?
There's only so many ways you can say "We're delighted...." or "We're thrilled...." so thought we'd try something different

Train it is. Thanks for the feedback! I remember when we had a regular supporters bus and young ones were always encouraged to come along. Changed times.
There’s a bus that runs to every away game & it’s full for today. Details of any available seats are posted on the club website, social media & newsletter.0 -

Are East Fife still streaming for overseas viewers?

Are the rules not that you have to have a goalkeeper over 18? Or is it different for the Premiership?
You need to have 13 players, one of which is a goalkeeper, and 10 of the 13 need to be over 18.
This means teams like us who have a youth team may be disadvantaged in these situations over clubs who only operate a first team squad.

Anyone else tried to sign up to watch the game and got an error message?
Used East fifes stream last season and never had an issue.
Should all be sorted now2 -
Can you go to the Elgin game and pay at the gate or is it still all ticket with a 150 limit.
The limit is over 300 but there’s no PATG option. Tickets need to be purchased beforehand0 -

Reminder that tomorrow’s match against TNS is free to view for season ticket holders. Anyone who bought their ticket before 5pm today should have received an email with details, I’ll catch up with any purchase made after 5pm tomorrow

Existing season ticket holders have been contacted separately regarding the outstanding balance on the 2020/21 season tickets.
Looking back I noticed the above words on one of the Chairman’s reports. As I know I haven’t been contacted can any other existing season ticket holders confirm if they have.!!!!!
If the club had your address you should have received an email with the details. Letters were posted out to those without registered email addresses. If you haven’t received either, drop a message to the club office office@eastfifefc.info0 -

They are part of it, but the SPFL is not the Joint Response Group.

Confirmed on the Morton website as £10 for the stream for Saturday. Was reading that there were some issues with your stream last weekend, has that been a regular occurrence?
The issue on Saturday was due to a problem with our website host’s server. The stream itself was fine, people just could access the website to see it. That had now been fully fixed and there were no problems getting on the website last night.

Wondering if anyone more technically minded than me could tell me if it's possible to get EFTV to work on my big TV (Samsung) whenever i try and access EFTV i just get an error message or the game plays for a second or two then stops.
Failing that i'll probably have to watch the games on my laptop again.
Not all TVs are supported by our host player. The easiest option would be to use a HDMI to connect your laptop to your TV. You would still need to log-in/navigate on your laptop but your TV should mirror your laptop screen.0 -
Just received an email from the club this morning confirming the Falkirk game will be shown on EFTV if your a gold ticket holder.
Im surprised by this a little why would Falkirk or any other club allow us to stream the game to our own fans. Surely Falkirk in this situation would want away fans signing up to their coverage.
We always ask out of courtesy but away clubs don’t need permission from the home team to stream matches overseas. The home club only restriction applies to domestic viewers only.0 -
First 15mins of stream not good then I had a few outages when I had to come out of full screen and refresh.
Disappointed to see the stream is only 720p!
Really don't want to be critical as I know it's all volunteer work that goes in to the broadcast but needs a big improvement to justify £12.50 I'm afraid.
We were in 1080p to begin with but had to drop it due to the issues at the start.
We had plans for replays etc today but the problems at the start meant we decided against it for this game.0 -
Streaming extremely disappointing as I missed first half as screen blacked out after eight minutes of poor quality. Waited till halftime logged out and tried again and got second half. I feel £12.50p for 45 minutes is tough, if you are selling a product service the subscriber expects it to work. streaming was worse than the Arbroath match and they offered a refund. Disappointed.
Can only comment on the second half with both sides having chances, thought a draw a fair result. Its a point on the boards and we now need to move on to the Forfar game, hopefully with a full squad. I thought Liam Callaghan had a good game today when he replaced Waddell. Some of our squad are needing to have the confidence to take a strike at distance as today I thought we were trying to walk it into the net.
A draw a fair result.
The first 15 minutes were an issue at our end but no problems from our side after that point.0 -
When will overseas PPV for this Saturday's game be available?
Impressed with the Gold package. Wish Montrose had something similar but overall don't grudge buying a season ticket, despite missing the early bird discount due to having to wait for announcement of PPV prices.
East Fife TV's discount for people like myself who won't in all probability be able to attend any matches seems really generous and fair-minded. Kudos to Liam and others for this.
Hoping the PPV is also fairly priced for overseas subscribers, though I recognise there is no real justification for making it cheaper. £7.00 last season was really good value.
PPV prices for Saturday will be announced probably tomorrow. However, there won’t be any difference in price for overseas subscribers compared to UK viewers.0
