  1. We are just on the cusp of being a really good side, just need some creativity up front. Read a list of out of contract players and there were some decent players on it, so wonder if we will get someone out of contract, or wait till Jan.

As for Hearts, please keep Levein. The longer Hearts and Hibs are shit the better the chance for killie to get top 6 and maybe get Europe where we can correct the CQN shitshow.

  2. Also a continuation of the theme that killie have taken a massive risk, with Hughes saying he thinks the Scottish jobs should go to Scottish lads, then promptly says he attempted to get a job in England. Then Leanne Crichton saying there has been so much change at killie with the whole backroad team, with the exception of Dyer, will be different. When all of Clarke’s backroom staff is staying. From the last game of the season only Mulumbu and Bachman will be gone, and Clarke obviously.

  3. Quite like the idea of Rowet, Clement or or Moore. As much as I love Holt I am unsure, think this season we will see how good a manager he is with rebuilding the squad. As for any of McCoist, McCann, Lee Clark, Hughes, or any of the traditional merchants of the spfl managerial merry-go-round they can go f**k themselves. Wouldn't be against Tommy Wright or Neil Lennon, although suspect Lennon would have a shelf life of around 2 season before he implodes.

    MJ;  honourable thing?  Really?

I wouldnt have thought it possible a year ago, but with the club on the up he could sell his shares, make his money, and leave quietly without much fuss. Perhaps if he does that, he might be remembered more fondly (if he even cares). Still irks me that he is likely to make a 7 figure sum from the sale of his shares, which he got for a pound, but i am at the point where I am ready for him to have his pay day just so we can consign him to history.

I had to give myself a bit of a slap today while listening to the programme as I was almost agreeing with Kenny Mac (at least I think he was hosting? It's been a while since I listened). Some of the guests (really scraping the barrel today with Darren Jackson and "Biscuits") were arguing in favour of summer football but the host brought out some stats which suggested teams who played summer football didn't actually get much further of at all than teams who don't.

It was Liam McLeod. He rattled off all the stats that show that countries that play a summer schedule have a poor record of reaching the group stages of the champions and europa league, to which Chick Young responded, "So you are for the status quo". :guns

  6. I am so sick and tired of hearing Traynor, Young and the rest of the Radio Scotland crew rattle on about the importance of Rangers to Scottish football and that the death of them would be a catastrophic. Where was all this concern when Rangers and Celtic decided that it was in their own best interests to try and leave Scotland for the Atlantic League or the EPL. They would have left and not given two hoots about the rest of us, but we are now expected to bend over backwards and save Rangers for the good of the game. Rangers have made their bed, they should now lay in it.
