Aye this weekend has been worse than usual. So far I've had rigged games for and against me but to the degree that neither are enjoyable. Had 10 wins and 2 losses, but knew it would end with straight defeats and so far I'm at 7 in a row. Just need to accept it and move on.
Pretty close to deleting this.
What's the point packing big players when it makes zero difference?
The gameplay is honking again this weekend with every single player feeling like a truck on skates.
How can a game be worse months after it released than it was to begin with?0 -

Looking for some quick advice. I have 90 Neur at the moment playing 100% chemistry and he's not very good, rarely influences games and even more rare for him to save the first shot on target in any game. I has Terstegan before and he was the same
I suspect all goalies are poor so is it worth upgrading to 96 Neur or is this wasting money as the game does not really value keepers?
Does anyone have a top keeper who is worth it?0 -
Finished the WL with my usual circa 14 wins. The latest update has made the poor lack of keeper position even worse; I didn't think it was possible. Makes it worse for both teams but 2 or 3 each from the same number of shots on a frequent basis is not good.
Out of 29 games I think my keeper played in about 6 of them, and the first 1 or 2 shots being goals against probably the case in over 20 games.
EA must think lots of goals encourages pack buying?0 -
Games closer for me as well, but each team having no keeper, in effect, is a waste of time. 4 or 5 goals each in most games.Genuine question - have they changed matchmaking in the early stages of WL to reflect Rivals ranks? I've played eight games today and all but three of them have been incredibly close; normally I sweep through the first dozen with most of them being against pretty poor opposition. If I wasn't playing alright then I'd have lost about four of my games so far.
Also: those icon swaps [emoji1787] an absolutely pathetic offering.0 -
Weekend league is always rigged and u need to accept that. This week seems to have got even worse. 90 Neur turned up in a couple of games but was just watching fir the other games.
If the games are going to be so rigged there needs to be a quit option, no one wants to play a rigged game at 3 nil after 30 mins.0 -

Is there any ideas or secrets to getting your keeper to save anything important? I have 90 Neur in a Bundes team, full chemistry etc but he will not save anything until 1 or 2 down?
Or do I just need to accept thats the fifa balance/cheating fir someone who spends zero on packs? [emoji318]0 -

It seems to em that there are only 2 types of games: ones where your keeper will save nothing until you are 2 nil down 9 and those where the keeper is only poor.
Tried a variety of keepers and all are rubbish. If i was a conspiracy theorist i would say not buying any packs is working against me - but maybe im just rubbish at FIFA and lookin for excuses.

This might just take the biscuit. Minute by minute analysis of Joey "the savior of Scottish football" Barton's debut. It's mind-boggling that the beeb can't find something better to write about and think anyone in their right minds would give a flying f*ck.Can't believe they actually analysed his whole match - but appeared to have missed him being 'megged' by Ali

Perhaps no point in saying that ICT and RC have home crowds much more than us. We had 600 odd today for example.

We don't know over how many years and I would think that maybe there may be some accounting benefit if part of the cash is going to the charity associated with the academy? and potentially some to other community work?

You don't see ISIS as a threat in the US ?

I agree and that is why I said in pursuit of the world wide caliphate. In recent times we have seen the worst terrorist attack in France since the War and the worst in the US since 9/11. ISIS generated circa 500m dollars last year from oil, taxation and hostage taking etc. That's very different from the terrorism we are 'used to' even from Al QaedaThe Caliphate is not a global entity. Subservience to it is. Again, a subtle difference but an important one. There are no IS troops ready to occupy the West in order to have one great global state. The Caliphate as a state exists - or at least was declared to exist - in Iraq and Syria. Oddly, the Caliphate broadly mirrors post Ottoman artificially imposed borders.

What exactly do you want here tubbs? You're coming across like a supporter of some sort of crusade.
Do you want all Muslims to take responsibility and be punished accordingly? There are many things you can accuse western governments of but not taking terrorism seriously is not one of them.
Merely recognising the threat and it's nature is what I am saying. Nothing about blaming all muslims; but your statement is a case in point as to why folk will prefer to frame Orlando as a gun control issue or a homophobic issue etc rather than a matter related to jihad.

You are indeed correct muslims are by far the most victimised group by ISIS, unlike you I can't comment on the DM position as I don't read it. Blasphemy is the first target of ISIS and Muslims who don't recognise the caliph and the teachings of ISIS are seen as worse than mere unbelievers. These facts are not contrary to my point re global jihad in pursuit of the world wide caliphate. The main sufferers from "Jihad" or as I believe you put it, "worldwide caliphate", are other Muslims. Keep reading the Daily Mail though.

On the back of Paris, Brussels and San Bernadino it seems people don't want to face the issue that jihad is for us in the west; and that's on top of the numerous plots discovered by law enforcement across the world.

He was investigated twice and found to have no links to any terrorist group. He was a looney wire a grudge and a gun, who managed to find a group on the internet that shared some of his nuttiness.
Eta, Fucksake I've agreed with TSAC!
The 'loony' and 'lone wolfe' type descriptions are often preferred and still finds
relevance with a lot of people despite the pattern of attacks. Global jihad is not about joining up and being part of what we In the west would term a 'cell' . That people who are perhaps mentally vulnerable are part of those involved is no surprise.

Jihad in support of the world wide caliphate is at the heart of this. For various reasons many people don't want to use this language.

Too many times you play people at a level way above you, particularly in weekend league. Close games are decent, 3 down after 3 shots in the first half just kills it.
