  1. These weren't just "run of the mill" postponements due to unplayable pitches, though. Without knowing all of the facts about the three cases, if matches are unable to be played because a pitch is deemed unfit, then that is different to a team being unable to fulfill a fixture for whatever reason is given. I don't know if the three teams have any right to appeal or not.

We can appeal and will be just waiting on the justification from the SJFA.
  2. I would like to think that a having a playable pitch is not the only prerequisite for a match to take place? After all this isn't amateur football. Surely available personnel and adequate facilities are also factored in. If you have been to Vics park you will know that there is only one window (the shop) in our pavilion. Therefore no electricity feed means no lighting, no hot water, toilet access, etc. Subsequently it is deemed unsafe to proceed. Health and safety of participants and spectators paramount.
RE: our game v Neilston, we are not financially secure that we are in a position to postpone a game on a whim. Managing to get home games played is a necessity. As for the so called distraction that day only 2 or 3 of our small group of followers were interested. Any one who has seen us know that the guys are mainly middle aged to pensioners and traditional junior supporters.
Like you say I hope there is a right to appeal as in our situation there appears to have been no precedent.

  3. I never said it was an excuse, if you read back I said we were rotten today , as bad as we've played all season , and said to a Vics fan well done on your 3 points, I just mentioned the pitch was poor and didn't suit our football, but as usual you come on and talk pish, as you do in every other thread

Managed to snap a picture of the "poor" pitch that both teams played on , hey also managed to get Krfc 10 shadow in to :0))

  4. As I said just call it as I see it, apologies if it offended you, we were rotten today, not like us, we tried to play football but the pitch was really heavy and it worked against us, as I said well done on your 3 points, our away form has been poor this season, and Duncansfield was perfect today, no where near spongy or heavy, see you there later in the season

Oh right well since we are miles apart and the weather has been different, the fixture was scheduled for our park, as vic Toria says suck it up!!!
  5. I see that Winton have announced that Mears, Harpo and Chris Wilson have signed for them. Any chance the Vics could keep their fans informed of any player movements, even something as simple as who re-signed for next season as a starting point?
