Insults? You do know this is a football forum, don't you? If you really wanted to stay quiet you would, instead of getting all upset that supporters of other teams are saying you're the best team. Its very strange behaviour.

Nobody is upset it’s quite a compliment from Auchinleck supporters conceding that they ain’t the best team, don’t be taking it back regardless of how the last 5 games go now.

What is this deflection nonsense? Everyone, me included is saying that Beith will win the league. That's based on the fact that you're well in front. Just take the compliments Beith fans ya bunch of rockets!

Only a difference of opinion surely there’s no need for insults I’d rather take it a game at a time a lot can happen yet and the same people on here giving us the title just now will be the same ones on slagging us off if we don’t win it, I much prefer staying quiet until it’s over I know that’s maybe not your way and if you were in our position you’d be proclaiming Auchinleck league winners having blown a league in recent years I thought you’d appreciate the caution.

I know. Imagine anyone suggesting that Beith who went top of the league today and have mostly home games left to play should win the league. How disrespectful you all are to suggest that teams who have lost to top of the league Beith already this season might lose again to in form Beith!

Off the 5 teams we’ve still to play we have only beaten 2 of them, concentrate on your own team and stop trying to deflect everything on to Beith , I’d say if Auchinleck win all their games then the league is there’s 63 points more than wins it this season

If Beith don’t win the league from here it would be a collapse or bottle job.
However Beith will win the league, regardless however you want to believe the difficulties of the remaining fixtures are for you.

Again keep peddling the same stuff, bottle jobs etc , every game in this league is difficult most people agree on this every week on here but all of a sudden Beith would have bottled it if they don’t win the league, definitely Beith are looking favourites but there’s a lot of football left to play yet.

  5. I knew before I had a look on here tonight there would be posts acclaiming Beith as champions, and let’s be honest it’s only said to create pressure on a club/team to get them to maybe believe the hype, unfortunately that won’t happen the league is far from over ,Beith are well aware they’ll need to fight for every point , a very good St Cadocs team to play at home on Wednesday not a gimme by any stretch of the imagination and only when teams start to complete their fixtures we can see what the winning points total will be 60 may win it but who knows

  6. Thought Beith were the better team throughout apart from a spell before halftime where Glenafton and a few long range efforts but all the real chances were from Beith , thought the home team never came out their defensive shape all night and were there for the point they earned as was seen at the cheers at the end of the game.

  7. Don’t think Beith ever had unassailable lead this season it’s been very competitive with a handful of clubs in contention, Beith however do punch very much above their weight in this league, last season we were rank outsiders and nobody would have tipped us for the title, this season we’ve been mentioned as potential winners but at no time favourites considering the wealth of some other clubs, having a manager that players want to play for and workrate that some of these bigger clubs fail to match we won’t be far away but equally neither will Talbot Clydebank Darvel and St Cadocs

  8. Very disappointed in Clydebank yesterday they seemed to lack the grit and determination needed to win these games, they bottled a real chance to get one hand on their first league title at this level, everything goes through number 23 and the longer the game went the further back he went playing safe passes they’ll never have a better chance to win at Bellsdale one central defender suspended the other sent off two others starting their first games in months , still all to play for I’ll be interested to hear what that fountain of knowledge Jackdaw thinks.

  9. Beith continually punch above their weight at this level we have been fortunate to win a few leagues and cups in recent times that have elevated our status to being named comfortably among the favourites for trophies at the start of every season without maybe having the financial leverage that clubs such as Darvel, Pollok and Clydebank have and now also the new breed of clubs St Cadocs and Gartcairn we continue to challenge however due to being a well run club with a great management team and a playing squad who continue to outshine some of our more illustrious opponents , don’t know why we get so many people who seem to take exception to a well run club that stays within its parameters winning the league just because they can’t gain promotion, the answer to that is maybe have a look at your own team and stop moaning Beith will be ready when they can and not before .

You deserved your win, but ‘trying to get players booked’? Get real, your style of play gets you wins but lets not pretend your guys werent kicking lumps out of him, but thats the way you guys play and we didnt match it so good luck in the next round.

Some of them were free kicks I agree but the theatrics rolling about trying to get players into trouble, he’s a decent wee player but he seemed more intent in noising up our bench shouting yes when a player got booked, it was a good game with 2 good teams but I certainly can’t agree that our style of play is physical in any way we try and play the game on the front foot and get after teams good footballers throughout the team that play the game the correct way.Clydebank will be up there at the end as possible league winners some cracking players, probably only a matter of time before they win something.

Beith keeper's kept them in it with 3 terrific saves but they just know how to win. Disappointing one but at least no league damage done

Thought Beith deserved the win in the end, the Beith keeper made a good few saves your right but it was the away team driving on in the second half looking for the winner and getting hit on the break a bit rather than getting done by good play, Clydebank number 23 is a Carlo Monti wannabe unfortunately for the bankies we had the real one in our team,he should concentrate on playing football rather than trying to get players booked

  12. For all his faults and he has many he’s actually correct in what he’s posted here Cumnock’s success is to be complimented and some Auchinleck fans in their warped thinking have decided to try and tarnish their Scottish cup win. Let’s enjoy the football and post about relevant news about teams and potential signings etc and let’s stop the personal insults because he possibly in the past rattled your cage.

I had read on Twitter that the ref had intended playing a further 3 minutes injury time. I'm led to believe if it's on Twitter you can take it to the bank that it's true as they remove ALL disinformation.

Not true he was intending to play 3 minutes of injury time this was relayed to the players as we entered injury time or thereabouts we had already played most of that when the game was abandoned

Largs v Beith from where I stand.

The game is into time added on and Largs are pushing for an equaliser.  Beith number 9 breaks clear and scores to make it 3-1 to Beith. He then runs over to Largs bench and there are word exchanged. The teams then form up for the restart and the referee calls the Beith number 9 over and books him.

The game is ready to go again when the Beith manager Strain starts shouting and wanting to fight, not sure who with. He is being restained by the Beith coaching staff and the referee runs over and gives him a red card.

As he is lead away by the Beith coaching staff he starts shouting at the Largs manager Davidson and it gets out of control from there with the referee and his two assistants standing in the centre circle.

Things start to calm down the referee blows his whistle and as everybody makes their way off the field, at that point he red cards the Largs manager.

My first thoughts were that the referee had blown for full-time but as we leave the ground it is confirmed that he has abandoned the game.

Let’s be clear the game would have finished soon after the restart and it’s not the referees fault Strain lost the plot.

That’s not very accurate both managers were red carded at the same time Davidson then Strain plenty of verbals but to blame one person for the incident is wrong and not an accurate account .

News of this shameful display actually making waves all over the internet, disgraceful actions really. Both clubs clearly both at fault and lifetime bans for all involved the only reasonable outcome.

That statement is that stupid I had to look twice it’s worse than the stuff Jackdaw puts on

  16. Both penalties looked clear cut from a Beith perspective, no complaints about any of them , decent enough game for a neutral but disappointing for us didn’t think there was anything in it until the first penalty then we went 3 at the back and conceded a lot of space for Pollok to attack us the game was well contested and the thug comment is ridiculous from the Pollok fan , the red card second booking just a second late was fair enough I thought he was fortunate to still be on the pitch to be honest, no complaints move on to the cup next week and maybe we might meet again this season.
