Did Cambuslang ever produce the sicklines?

Apparently we’re leaking goals all over the place and don’t hold any fear anymore for a team not far away from beechwood so I read on another thread but it’s all about opinions n I agree with the last posters on here might be a bit off it just now but that’s how you win leagues maybe when we pick up again the fear will return am off to check the stats on the goals being leaked.
It would appear that, albeit after playing 8 games more, our near neighbours have conceded 3 times as many goals and scored about a third fewer. Must be those pesky referees again.

Did Shankland not score the 3rd?

only caught second half but that was a 2-1 hammering. very one sided .
To be fair to Rossvale they had by far the better of the first half.
Can’t see them being anywhere near the relegation places if they keep that form up.

Aside from Tommy at Talbot Tony must be the next most successful manger in the last 10 years?
Henderson at Glenafton? They won a treble after all

A very experienced manager and the only one ever to beat Auchinleck from a lower league in a Scottish final if memory serves me right-and beat them well.
if he can keep himself in order he can do well.A great track record of honours that only Talbot recently in the west could better and the likes of Kilbirnie could only dream about despite their petulant protestations.Yep I agree hes experienced but always a but he did relegate a team regardless how many months or matches he had with them also yes he did beat talbot in the Scottish but how many games did talbot have to catch up with till the final if it was played fair and square at the time talbot would have won but the amount of games talbot had in the lead up to that final doesn't justify and if ur honest a decent final
Pretty sure Shotts had an horrendous run of fixtures up to, and after, the Junior cup final - probably played more games than Talbot that season.

Hi Kennie,
18th January, Beith don't have a game and neither do Rossvale - just missed off or correct that neither team have a game?
Thanks
Rossvale seem to be down to okay Beith on 18th January in the west of Scotland cup.

When did this happen. I was at the game and have no memory of anybody getting a serious injury
near the end. Pollok had used their subs so finished the game with 10 men.0 -
Superb thing to do. More power to the clubs for doing this.

Away and gees peace he will b here for years to come . Squad age brought down it’s a long term project
Aye. If it wasn’t for those pesky referees making Cumnock lose most weeks, eh? Is that still your excuse? Or have you conveniently forgotten that gem?

We are down to play Glasgow Perthshire on the 20th of July
Sorry, hadn’t read through the page. Just looked - at the time of posting - an obvious solution

Further down the screen there’s a post from Irvine Meadow looking for a game that day.

I enjoyed the day tbh, weather apart. Also the day John Boyle cane back to the Talbot.2009.
Just messaged him when he came back. He couldn’t remember
hard to believe it was as long ago as that. Time flies.
Anyway, this is getting off topic - sorry for that.

I have a lot of respect for Talbot, they agreed to play a Testimonial about 7 years ago at our old ground for our player/manager (who is still our manager), brought the Junior Cup with them and made it a great day. Nothing but respect for the club, I paid a visit a few years back to your place as a neutral and enjoyed it. A few roasters on Pie and Bovril doesn't change that.

Gone.
Maybe because of the spat between a Glenafton fan and a Cumnock one?

Hopefully they’re paying Talbot for use of the badge?

Yes and with us losing the West semi final we are scheduled to play the Junior Cup Final on the 2nd and sit idle to the 14th. Lets hope this can be looked at again
There is now no reason for it to be so late in the season
Just as there is now no reason to be playing next Monday and Wednesday - the game v Cambuslang could be held over until after the Junior cup final

The guy that shouted attack attack was big moose he was a character died about 10 years ago as for the other person I can't recall anyone who did that .
The older chap looked to me like he was almost pension age back then and I'm going back over 20 years. He was never malicious just liked annoying opposition fans. Harmless old guy.
Sorry to hear of the passing of the character "big Moose" - football needs guys like him (and Lochee's 118 fan)

The guy who used to shout "Tora, tora, tora - attack, attack, attack" was brilliant
And there was an older guy who walked round the pitch with - what is now known as a manbag - a satchel who'd wind up opposition fans.
Liked going to Abbey Park - was always a tough place to go and you always knew Talbot had been in a game after 90 minutes. Couldn't single out any particular game there though

Tbh I would rather the juniors were pro-active and just wrote this season off without waiting on anyone else making a decision - as harsh as that may be to some teams.
