Eddie is the reason I love the game!
When I visited Adelaide in 2017, even though I went to a Port game, the Crows and Eddie in particular were on fire!
His size, skill and grin (and pocket) caught my eye immediately... love the guy!1 -

I was absolutely delighted the crows got hammered in the final. Hoping port Adelaide can up the game next year.
An excerpt from the crows Wikipedia page:
The Crows were formed in 1990 after a supreme court injunction to halt The Port Adelaide Football Club from entering the AFL. They are a composite team originally owned by the SANFL (later gaining independece) and played their first season in 1991.
Good on Richmond. It's been a long wait for them. First ever AFL premiership for them too! Their coach was a member of the playing squad when port won it in 2004 too.
Can't begrudge a team getting a first title in so long, they thumped them on the day!
I'd read that about the crows... franchises suck, but my soft spot for Adelaide has seen me take an "all teams" approach...

Grand Final tomorrow. Planning on going to Australia next year so been getting into the sports. NRL has been pretty easy as a Super Rugby fan and State of Origin is amazing but not really given AFL much of a chance yet. Tomorrow is as good a place to start as any I suppose.
I went to a Port Adelaide game in the spring while over on holiday, and the game and atmosphere was amazing! I love the game now and have been watching it most Friday and Saturday mornings on BT Sport!
Got a soft spot for all the Adelaide teams now, so was gutted this morning... [emoji20]0 -
if religion did not exist you would still have 2 big clubs in glasgow with the same amount of supporters and the same rivalry, they would find something to promote this rivalry, yes rivalry sells, yes football clubs are in the habit of selling a product to their fans and yes football fans are in the habit of paying for it.

They're easy to spot, they always overuse the word bears and beg support of fellow bears, decent bears, open-minded bears, etc..... or use the term war chest.

Nah, I'm not having this!
RBS meant I couldn't go get my season ticket this week, but these developments mean I may be thanking them!
I hope Accies will be voting no to the Newco being placed into SFL1 (and hopefully the SFL in general), but if other teams decide to allow this travesty then I may not be back!
Money is becoming tighter all the time, and unfortunately there are a number of other things I could (and probably should) be spending my hard earned cash on each week/season. I, and I'm sure many others, could easily justify putting my/their cash elsewhere as opposed to continuing to fund a spineless and disgraceful cabal devoid of any natural competition and "sporting integrity".
Sure things have always been a bit iffy on that front, but this would take the biscuit!

All the talk seems to be about whether the Newco will take on responsibility of the Oldco's wrongdoings...
Simple answer is that the SFA/SPL/SFL or whoever tells the Newco that they have to accept responsibility for the Oldco's previous actions or they aren't allowed to join either league or the SFA!
It seems to me that if the Newco feel they have no right to bear the responsibility for the actions of their previous sporting incarnation then they have no right to membership of the senior Scottish leagues or even the SFA.
It's as simple as that (or at least it should be)!

Queens players spitting the dummy towards the end, very petulant... I've never seen a more obvious case of players trying to get the boss the sack. Can't see him making it beyond the weekend.
Great performance by Accies today, there could be no complaints if that ended 10-0
