I don’t think Thistle are anything to fear this at the moment going by the highlights from their game at the weekend. I would imagine our defence will be as good as anyone’s this season, so I can’t see us conceding too many goals. Our problems (at least so far anyway) appear to be with breaking teams down. Probably as a consequence of going for a hardworking, physical midfield three of Kerr/ Sabatini/ McKay. I’d like to see us swap out McKay for either Stokes or Robert to see if this improves us. I wouldn’t be disappointed with a draw, however I feel we need to take advantage of Thistle’s current form as they’ll no doubt pick up at some point. Let’s go with: Currie MacDonald - Fordyce - Crighton - McCann Kerr - Sabatini O’Reilly - Robert - Carrick Gallagher 1-0 Airdrie.

Looks like we’ve got Falkirk away x2 and Thistle away x2 looking at the fixtures. Could go either way - if our home form is as bad as it has been recently it’s maybe not a bad thing!

The reserves got disbanded so the first team squad has absorbed a few of the young boys. At least five of the players listed will get very limited game time in the coming season I would imagine. I would expect another 3-4 first team players at least to be signed before October.

No way that will pass. Absolutely mental. Why they’re trying to make decisions without any knowledge of when we will be able to re-commence is just plain stupid. If there’s the possibility that the Premiership season will be played to completion, it’s completely nonsensical that the other leagues are ‘terminated’.

I must admit when I saw the team selection yesterday I feared the worst. I couldn’t figure out how Murray was going to fit those players into any kind of formation, but i was certainly proven wrong. The narrow midfield four allowed the full backs to get forward while providing plenty cover, which isn’t always the case when we play with a front three/ midfield three. I still don’t think we were fantastic but a big improvement on previous weeks, particularly in the final third. Calum Gallagher will feel hard done by finding himself out of the staring 11, however we’re starting to see the quality that Andy Ryan has. His overall play is just different class - and I’m glad he’s finally got his first goal. Hopefully he’s able to kick on and get into double figures before the end of the season. Clyde were exactly what they’ve been each time I’ve seen them this season - a one man team. A really important few games coming up now, we really need to pick up or we could find ourselves outwith the play offs.

Baffling. Everyone could see it after a couple of games but he keeps persisting with him off the bench. It’s not like we don’t have other options either.

Raith were the better team by miles for the first 35 minutes, but after that is was a bit back and forth. Raith never looked like they’d lose that game though. It’s clear why they’ve been able to grind out results consistently over the course of the season. I really hope Raith go on to win the league now ahead of those Falkirk c***s.

Ian Fucking Murray man. You’ve really got to wonder what goes through his head when he’s picking his teams. What has he seen in Ally Roy in 5 months to suggest he’s going to anything other than be an absolute shitebag week after week. Pathetic. Callum Smith has been poor for weeks but he plays 90 minutes every week. Paul McKay contributes nothing other than a long throw but continues to get picked. Kurtis Roberts is the most important player in that team but he’s determined not to play him. David Hutton has been out most consistent player of the last two seasons but he’s decided to play this donkey Scott Gallagher the past two weeks. He continues to make terrible decisions week after week. I know he’s an inexperienced manager and we can’t expect him to make the right decisions all the time but f**k me so much of this is glaringly obvious. The title challenge is well and truly over and we now need to try and build a bit of form going into the end of the season for the play offs.

I struggle to see any way we win this game today unless Murray stops tinkering and sticks Roberts back in. I would however like to see McKay and Smith drop out this week as they’ve not played well in weeks now. Hutton McDonald - Crighton - Fordyce - McCann Millar - Roberts - Wedderburn Thomson - Ryan - Carrick Any credible title challenge will be gone by 4:45pm if we lose so this is a huge game for us.

McLean is a much better signing that Miller would have ever been. He should bully defenders at League One level. Hopefully he isn’t quite up to speed for Saturday!

Smith is never a right midfielder in a 4-4-2, if that is the formation we’re going with I’m surprised he’s not went with Thomson.

Bonkers. I know he’s apparently had fitness issues but surely he can’t be so unfit he can’t even make the bench? I can’t see I’ve noticed him being particularly unfit at any point this season.
