"We're skint and need the fans to turn up in number to keep the administrators at bay". Oh, No! - Got that wrong. Everythings great - we've got loads of cash and we're signing new players.
I'm confused as f**k.
We won't be paying for these players.

Tactically clueless 4 left foot players in defence plus the keeper top goalscorer playing in right mid, casa has done fek all Graham shouldn't have came off yada yada yada the list could go on and on

Turnball Hutton really knows how to piss off fans
Can't work out a budget- blames fans
80k loss blames the fact we won too many games
Away ye go!

Motivation and a good morale are key factors to success. Although I agree that Walker has been very poor of lately and the way he reacted was totally out of order, some of the moronic clowns that go to the games and make these ridiculous shouts need a real shake to hopefully knock some sense into them.
We're struggling yes, stretched with limited numbers (particularly in defence) due to injuries etc so guys like Walker have to play ! Yes he has been poor but don't you think we should be trying to encourage the guy instead of jumping on his back making his confidence hit rock bottom? You can only piss with the cock you've got I'm afraid, and we all know what Walker is capable of on his day. As touched upon he had a really good game up at Dingwall against County.
So these idiots who are hitting up fantalk with the "I'll no be there next game because we're pish" caper are simply no good to us, the same with the boys who make the shouts for McGlynn to "Change it" then as soon as the sub is on the park they are right on the guys back after one misplaced pass or so.
Although I may not agree with McGlynn's tactical philosophy or his decisions, i'll still back my team and encourage them to perform, it's going to be difficult but that's what us fans do - we stick together through the thick and thin. The football on show may not be great but at the end of the day it's the club we choose to support and moaning and mindless idiots aren't going to help us in any way at all.
100% agree great post

Some of the people on fanny talk have issues I'm sure a lot don't even go to the games either lol

The million dollar question is......
After Pat Clarkes decent debut, how many games will it take for him to be "McGlynned"
I reckon we'll get 2 more displays where he's full of energy & commitment, then he'll blend in with the other dross.
Is McGlynn really this incompitent - or has he just lost the dressing room?
This^

dont know if anyone else has heard but we are apparently looking at bringing Pat Clarke in on loan to the end of the season, hope this would mean Baird was goin the other way.
edited to add for some reason the above posts never showed up when i came on here.
Do you rate Clarke better than Baird?

think is we did create chances on Sat, what gets me is that a player who only arrives the day before is given a game ahead of Thomson who has already proven he can do a job, what are we going to be doing to his confidence?
Sorry but thomson looks good and runs about but very little comes from his wayward final ball but the new guy for me slowed the game right down, we were all over them then he came on
Joe Hamill was shite

People calling for mcglynn's head is bad news

Love the club but the people that will kill it off are the BOD. They keep touching the burning hob they never learn so many great ideas on this forum to raise funds and the profile of the club yet why do they never come up with anything or put into the club.
Sorry for the rant I know the BOD have worked hard but they have put there energy into the club wrongly in my honest opinion I respect some people will not agree but I'm not sure they know how to work a calculator

Well it depends. Say we went down with a part time squad? Then we would be truly fucked.
Or lets runs with a full time squad until we are well intruly fucked lol its catch 22 there is no simple solution if we won the sfl1 we would overspend and be fucked when we came back down if we dont win we are fucked cause pars went up. To be honest i would never take a job on the board as Hutton says "pushing water up a hill"

Mcglynn wanted more value for money from his squad.
£17 is what it costs. We charge less than that, we might not have a club. Costs for the club go up, so the admission price has to aswell. It's the same for all businesses just now, football clubs aren't and shouldn't be any different.
Yeah but if having a full time squad is detrimental to the club then he should have been told no we are cutting it back and we need to go part time in the future they built a squad over the summer that is going to put us in the red AGAIN.

If there's a reason to avoid promotion its lex and his st mirren cronies entering every single thread that doesn't concern them, and then turning it into a snidefest.
As for offering 75 grand,i highly doubt it. We're more skint than a paisley burds knees.
Have a greeny

I'll be delighted if baird is still a rovers player on 1st September
A think if a club was gonny buy him it would be done by now can see him seeing out his contract defo

A fairly bland puff piece to be honest. Still though, it allowed Baird the opportunity to state again that he's not particularly interested in leaving the club. He is interested in leaving the division, which is heartening.
Maybe the club should start thinking about tying him up for another year so he doesnt walk out for nothing

Wee bit off topic guys I know but I was driving past Rivers training up Randolph last night and I couldn't help notice that there was a "gentleman of coloured description" training with us, couldn't get a good enough look to see who it was and didn't want to get arrested for leaning through a hedge taking photos on my phone in a park (again )
Anyone heard anything?
Marvin Andrews is keeping fit training with us

Apparantley Donaldson signed a 3 year deal

Rumour has it we've secured Reece on a long-term contract. Great move by the club.
Great move if true also maybe even give him a extra boost and play better than he already has

Went to the game at Cappielow last night as a neutral. Raith Rovers were the better team. Ayr took their chances, Raith didn't. 3-0 was extremely flattering to Ayr IMO. P.S. The gentleman's toilet had neither light nor water. Didn't think there was much point in testing the soap dispensers in the land of the soapdodgers.
