  1. Yes but if he refuses deal we would be due compo (however small), if no deal was offered we would get nothing.

Compo would be what? £20k tops and most likely not even close given that's what montrose got. His wages will likely be around the £24-30k mark possibly a good bit more with his promotion bonus etc.

Hartley clearly thinks he can do a job or wouldn't risk paying that to a player he doesn't fancy.

Martyn might not be a spectacular player but he is a solid one and you know what you are going to get from him everytime

  2. I live in the north east and have heard rumours that suggest his lack of commitment.

    ^^well that's wrong.

Martyn has always given 100% anywhere he has been. Just loves playing football.

That was the reason he went to hibs, to play more football.

10 times the player Harris is.

ETA - wouldn't be due much compo anyway if he did leave, certainly not near as much as his salary would be if he signed up so if he wasn't wanted it wouldn't have been offered.

  3. Probably because for the privelege of eating in their 'restaurants', McDonalds and the like allow you to clear your own table. In these circumstances you should tip yourself. Around 10% of the cost of your meal is about right.

Barbers expecting a tip really fucks me off! I've just paid you £9 for 15 minutes work and you are surprised I want my fucking change!? b*****ds.

I love paying for meals in a restaurant by card! That look on their greedy faces as you take the card out is priceless!

Just to add I work as a sales developer for a wholesale company. Not the greatest job but requires a talent and a shit load of hard work to succeed. My brother used to work in roos leap and his tips alone each week weren't that far off my salary! For carrying plates! Scandalous!

  4. It's not the people, it's the businesses that employ them. Wages in industries like, for example, catering are based on the understanding that the employees will have their wage topped up by tips.

They will be receiving at least minimum wage so at pad for the job they do. Tipping seems to be expected which is a load of shite!
  5. Evil Dead (2013) - Load of shite 1/10

I concur. I hate when films are remade for no reason.

    Grumpy old men

Hadn't seen this in years and it has stood the test of time. Great comedy with an equally great story in it. They just don't make them like they used to! Burgess meridith so character is fantastic! "If you don't mount her send her too me!"

  6. The two pubs were a wee tiny place, kind of rasta painted with a pool table down a wee flight of stairs and the other place (where the biggest queue was) was basically the Trades. Pretty nice boozer but filled with jakes (not us). One boy went to the urinal, dropped his trousers to his ankles and had a piss.

    Ash bar and the market.

Ash bar is a "rock" pub and has paintings of kurt cobain etc on the walls.

  7. There's never enough filling in a deep fill sandwich.

My local have put 5p on their pints so it is now £3.15. I would rather pay £3.20 as my pocket ends up full of those pretty useless 5p coins that then just sit in a large change jar in the house.

  8. This is what a night out in Montrose is like...

We certainly know how to impress visitors. We aren't all that bad and I'm willing to bet Deeboy was standing outside the Arch waiting on it opening. The arch is a mutant holding pen to keep them from mingling with society. That warning should really be printed on all train tickets purchased for montrose. Place would probably have shut if it wasn't for all that money they made 2 years ago when sevco came.

As for busbys if anyone is stupid enough to pay £6 to get into a large shed they put a few flashy lights in then they fully deserve to have their picture mocked on here! It doesn't even sell pints ffs!!

  9. Caught the back end of Outbreak the other night, and that's well overdue another viewing.

Probably considered one of his more lowbrow films, but an absolute corker :P

    I love outbreak.

    Lake view Terrace

A mixed race couple move next door to a racist LAPD officer played by Samuel L Jackson.

Jackson is superb in this and portrays his character perfectly as his sanity depletes rapidly.

    A must see.

  10. I also moved down to England when I was 16 to work in my aunties hotel labouring. Although I obviously knew my auntie I didn't know a sole.

Went to the pubs on my first Saturday there and got punched twice just for being Scottish but got a ride of a lassie who turned out to be the village bike!

Eta - it was Alston I moved too. Well it was a hotel called nenthead lodge next to alston
