No I am not. I am refuting a suggestion that Duffy alledegly having greater resources thus had the edge on Stranraer and that a reversal of roles with Aitken at Morton and Duffy at Stranraer would somehow have seen Morton romp league 1. Poor performances in key games did it for Stranraer and that was down to Aiken . Being out thought by Duffy in three out of four games does not in my opinion justify the repeated attempts by some of the muppets on here to denigrate Dufffy. He is better than Aitken who has probably found his limit at mighty Dimbarton.
You haven't seen a single ball kicked by any team managed by Jim Duffy or Stephen Aitken, so are in no place to comment.

Comment was actually about Aitken' deficiencies .
Yes, but you were suggesting that Duffy did a better job than Aitken because his tactics were better, which you have absolutely no clue about.

No it's about setting up the right team and getting tactics right not choking against Dunfermline and getting the plan completely wrong against Morton and Forfar.
Again, you didn't see a single game last season, so you are in absolutely no position to comment on Duffy's tactics.

So what were the signings of Peaso, Tidser, Forbes, the punting of Barrowman and SC and the switching of Lamie to centre back all about then? So mistakes were made,, it happens just like your memory about my supposed non attendance
Ignoring the fact that you literally didn't pick up on anything I said, I find it hilarious that you think Duffy should be applauded for switching Lamie to centre back, a position which he played his entire footballing career at before being shafted to left back be the aforementioned Duffy for no other reason than he had failed miserably to build a balanced squad and had no natural left backs.

Again, what was the objectives at the start of the season?
To convincingly beat a bunch of seaside dross without having to rely on hilarious bottle-crashing from said seaside dross.
Given our starting position with 4 signed players six weeks out I am comfortable with the margin . I agree though that all too often we allowed the opposition far too many one one one opportunities with Gaston. Even when we had by far the bulk of possession the opposition were allowed to have far too many goal attempts for their time with the ball. A fair part of the reason for that is the fact that we had a young inexperienced defence, and one bombscare, but it was still evident that the team was in transition and moving in the right direction with JD in control.
...most of which Duffy signed, and then continued to put in the "Starting XI" hat even when glaringly obvious that they should be nowhere near the team.
Since I also seem to recall that you went to a grand total of zero games last season, I'm curious as to how you can comment so assuredly on our general play, especially as you seem to think we were in "transition" for the entire season, despite there being absolutely no signs of improvement.

Finishing 2 points ahead of Stranraer and 3 ahead of Forfar over the course of a 36-game season is closer to an embarrasment than it is an achievement, and we needed a ridiculous amount of luck to do so.

Tell me something, don't you find it slightly odd that a very large proportion of those fans who saw a Jim Duffy side play near enough every single week think he did a terrible job? Don't you think they're in an infinitely better position to judge than you, and that the sheer quantity of fans calling for his head despite promotion says something about Duffy as a manager?
But no, it must be everyone else that's wrong, not you.
