Nah we’re ok, thanks for asking though.

I  hope so. I've a genuine affection for the Fort. The afternoon of my stag do 25 years ago was spent watching them take on Lossie in the North of Scotland cup final at Mosset.

They really don't. No-one owed City a ground. Canal Park wasn't just funded by Highland Council and is used by a club that has hundreds of all age and gender players and multiple teams. The cricket clubs are long established, so why should football get priority over their pitches?

Up until the early 80's the Canal pitches were predominately the domain of football. Everything from the Boys Brigade to Welfare played on it. The council at the time pretty much handed it over to Highland Rugby club. As for cricket, they didn't seem to have a problem with the Northern Meeting Park being used for rugby in the late 70's when Highland were flying high & attracting crowds. Inverness City really weren't harming anyone, either at the Bught or at the Northern Meeting & provided us with representation in the Juniors.

Neither Thistle, or Caledonian died. They created a club out of both sides. Inverness CT are a great side, with a rich history.

Inverness CT are not a franchise in anyway at all. They have not moved to a new city. They have combined the history of both previous clubs.

Eh! From an old school Jaggie, utter pish. Take your Plastic FC & shove it.

I still much prefer being in the standing area to being seated, but haven’t been in a mosh pit in at least 10 years. Don’t even think I made it to 30 years old when I retired myself from the pit given the damage I always ended up doing to myself! emoji1.png

I try & mix it up. Seated for Slayer on Monday. Right up at the barriers for Phil Campbell & the b*****ds Sons tonight at the Ironworks, Inverness.  Lugs ringing & I'll be sore tomorrow:lol:
