Well, the final scene from the season finale has shot right to the top of the 'Cheesiest GOT scene' league table. Boke.

f**k the Starks, I could see that coming for a while. What about Yrgritte? She now officially has the tidiest living arse on the show.
Was pleased to see that Mackenzie Crook getting it.
Poor direwolf.
Ygritte is a munter.

I don't know whether to cry, be sick or both
Powerful episode, can't get the belly-stabbing bit of out my head!

Maybe it's just me, but I was expecting a little more fuss or fury from the Starks when the Rains of Castamere begins to play. Apart from Cat it seemed to go unnoticed.
I think most of them are probably meant to be hammered. And Robb has never seemed to be entirely perceptive in an immediate sense...he's more of a deep-thinker.

Bluegrass music has nothing to do with the blues.
I was really just being pedantic. Although, if we are really going to have a discussion about musical origins, there is an argument for blues, bluegrass and gospel all deriving from the same source: Celtic psalm and ballad music.
That's 'Celtic' with a hard 'c', not a sinister soft 'c'.

"Blues" was in use to mean Melancholy long before it was a genre of music.
As me and some mates were trudging out of the away end I heard I heard the song go up from some wags behind us "Three Years, It only took three years, It only took three years" we looked at each other smiled and went to the pub where I managed to resist the temptation to put SRV on the jukebox.
Well that's lovely, but has very little to do with my point. The title of the thread contains the expression 'singing the blues' which directly relates to blues music, and not to the expression 'the blues.'

No, no, no, no, no, NO! 'Singing the blues,' is a moronic cliche when used to mean 'depressed.' The blues is simply the name of a particular type of cyclical musical form, deriving from African-American bluegrass music of the early twentieth-century. FOOLS! It can also be happy, so very happy!

From RangersMedia:
'Do you believe that there is a possibility a centrally organised and paid for campaign to get journalists to create a negative image of Rangers in the press down south, and if so are they being successful?' THE EDUCATOR
How on Earth did they find out? I thought the plan was to keep this secret, guys?

Fairly new to coupons... on the Scotbet website I want to pick seven games to bet on... it gives me the option of clicking 'accumulator' but there is also an option which says 'six-folds.' The 'six-folds' has a possible return of £8000 while the 'accumulator' only has a return of $2000. So what's the difference between the two?

Last post on P&B before the final, want to wish both my fellows Hibees and the Jambos on the forum good luck, hope everyone has a great day out!
WHAT A FUCKING BIG GAME!

Fenlon should change the formation for the final. It might sound batshit mental playing a totally new formation for the first time ever in our biggest game, but bare with me:
-------------------------Brown-----------------------------
-------------Francomb McPake Hanlon-----------
Doherty------------------------------------------Kujabi
------Osbourne---Claros/Soares-----Stevenson------
--------------O'Connor--------Griffiths------------------
First of all, Hibs have no effective wide men anyway, so we aren't missing much width that we would have from a 4-4-2.
That back five is solid, with the exception of Kujabi who terrifies me but has some use going forward. With three centre-halves Kujabi could roam forward with less danger, him and Doherty are likely to be our only threat from out wide so we may as well do it with them less exposed. Hearts are likely to play one up front, so five as the back could deal with that, allowing Hanlon to get forward at times.
Hearts are likely to have three centre-mids, with two widemen backing up the striker. With my line-up/formation, we'll match them in midfield and the wing backs can deal with the wingers.
O'Connor and Griffiths can score goals from nothing (as they've usually had to do this season). With this set up we can nulify Hearts and get balls forward with a better chance of winning second balls than the more open 4-4-2, it won't be pretty but they will get chances.
It worked for Celtic in the last OF. Rangers weren't prepared for playing against a different shape, Hearts won't be either.
This is the way to beat Hearts, get it sorted Fenlon.
Every derby this season, Hearts have thumped us in the midfield. I would probably do a four-four-two system, including both Soares and Claros in the mid, then take out Kujabi from the defence and leave him as a sub.

I just sold my spare one for £150. Plenty of offers as well.
Some fan you are.

I'll be getting the train, information all seems a bit vague to me though, will probably pop into the train ticket office and get my tickets in the next few days to save some hassle.
Looking forward to it, hopefully there will be a good atmosphere on the trains on the way there.
I'm buying mine tomorrow. Phoned up today and it seems to be like this: you just buy your tickets online/at the station as usual, e.g. buy a return from Haymarket to Central. Then, when you get to the station on the 19th, the police will have separated the different fans and formed them into a queue. As long as you have a ticket, you are allowed to stand in the queue. The trains are so frequent that when one fills up, they just divert the queue into the next train and so on, so forth.
