Bo'ness isn't an over spill town. That'll be Grangemouth you're thinking of. The only overspill we have are people who can't afford to live in Linlithgow or Edinburgh anymore oh aye and eastern Europeans. We have had our fair share of idiots in the past that caused trouble with the youth of the towns we visited. If we still had that problem then the wee gobshite from Tranent would've been very quiet. We actually thought he had some kind of mental health problem and hadn't taken his medication.

I spoke to the site agent the day of the fire. They were expecting early completion by the end if July but didn't know how long that would be put back after the fire.I had a peek through the gate yesterday evening. I would guess that in a week's time we should have a level prepared base i.e. drainage done, levelled ground, layer of membrane and then a couple of inches of what looks like grit/sand.
I think it's then a case of putting down the replacement Pro-shock (the material that was set on fire) and then putting the artificial turf on top of it. Hopefully there isn't too much delay in getting the Pro-shock and turf delivered.
As for a date I hear different stories, most of which start with "I was speaking to one of the boys who's working on the park and he said it will be ready by ......" August, September and October have all been mentioned. Hopefully get an update on here in a few weeks.0 -

It was JC’s retirement game as well. I know JC holds the memory of that game dear though as despite BU being in a comfortable lead, the ref was having a ‘mare and literally everyone at Newtown thought the red card was an utter joke to the point it was hilarious, and everyone gave the big man a tremendous ovation as he made his way off the park.

That's right. He made all the deserts and cakes. Best caramel shortcake ever. His sons worked the weekends in the canteen too.My wife used to work in Sun and when I mentioned the name she remembered him, saying he was a baker who made braw cakes!

I worked with Sandy Myles in the kitchens at Sun Microsystems in linlithgow in the late 90s. He lived in bainsford and retired a few years later. I bumped into him a couple of years ago when I was delivering to a care home in Blairgowrie. He had come out of retirement and was the chef.
