I'd conservatively estimate Bonnyrigg had 98% possession and 136 shots on goal but we couldn't score.
Fair play to Livingston, somehow hung on and with our record there was only ever going to be one winner on penalties.Basically true.
Absolute shambles.
Livi were spectators for most of the game, but hung in there. Away to my bed to greet.

Another cracking night for a trip to the Midlothian Maracana. Looking forward to a goalfest, and one way ticket to the next round.

The only reason I'm not going tomorrow is the £18 entry. It's hardly bank breaking, but add in transport, half time pie and bovril and suddenly its not the usual cheap day out.
Onto the football, tough one to pick. I can see both teams fancying their chances so possibly a score draw is on the cards.

Great start to our journey in the big leagues, has definitely settled the nerves a little.
Really positive to see how well we managed the game, certainly gives a bit of early hope that we can push into the top half. It's very early days of course, away next week will be a test.

You could certainly have had a few hundred more Bairns there last night.
Good luck for the season. It’s great to see new teams get into the SPFL leagues (especially at the expense of Cowdenbeath!!). I suspect you’ll be comfortable this season and have something to build on.
Thanks very much, hope you're right!
Likewise, hope you lot do well. I was at Stirling Uni when Falkirk used to train there, so minor soft spot to see you progress back up.

Don’t get me wrong, I understand why it’s the case - I just wouldn’t rush back. The pitch will certainly be a great leveller against bigger teams. You do need to sort the entry/exit though - it looks like new seating that are causing the problem, but having people file in/out single file is daft.
I thought we were pretty rubbish last night, first 15 aside. Looked so vulnerable to height at set pieces again. The way we play needs more space to do well, and as soon as teams (or pitches!) crowd is, we really struggle. Thought you guys deserved a win tbh.
Aye, the entry/exit is a bit chaotic.
Someone else was complaining about a lack of online ticket options, official attendance was 1,507 (from 2,400 capacity). We absolutely need to be sorting ticketing and entry out. Cant rely on paper printed tickets for bigger games, and solely pay at the gate for smaller ones.
Cowdenbeath in the playoffs was an excellent example of doing it right. Tickets easy to buy online with a QR code entry scanner, and despite also having essentially one entrance, it was easy to get in and out. Maybe something we can look at improving for next year.

I know what you mean, but look at Kelty - much better place. Still small, tight ground (much like Linlithgow Rose and others). I don’t see any redeeming features.
pain in the arse to get to as well, despite being central belt. I appreciate TFS would also be in that category.
A large part of the issues with NDP is that we have climbed from the Juniors (where this is pretty much the norm for a ground) to League 2 in a matter of a few years.
The slope isn't great, and will be hard to fix, but the rest of the ground has seen fairly significant investment each year for the last 5-10. There's absolutely still a lot to do, but it's clear to see the improvements that have been made.
Unfortunately, we dont have the finances of Kelty to just build a bespoke new ground, so we'll just have to be patient and keep the current model going.
Regarding the game last night, Falkirk looked excellent in spells but obviously just lacking a little bit of match sharpness. Fully expect them to be romping League 1 next year, but who knows. Away fans were in excellent voice, really appreciated having such a vocal away support to make the evening enjoyable. Got to wish Falkirk all the best in the next round when they pump Clyde on Saturday.
LOL at Hibs.

How are Bonnyrigg sales going for tomorrow? Our end has sold out
It's not going to be a sell out by the looks of it, but I'd think fairly close.
Maybe 2,000?

Anyone have any idea what's going on for Greenock Vs Bonnyrigg away tickets.
The website suggests buying through the online portal for sections F&G, but since day one has consistently said no tickets are available.
I'm assuming tickets will be available at the ground, but generally like to be organised.

Feck sake just pure stupidity. Some gluecose and fluids at the ERI and hopefully all good.
Rose have tweeted that they're both fine and one has commented himself to say it was dehydration.
Glad they are both alright, but football terraces can be hot boxes in warm weather. Take some precautions, folks!

Will probably be a few drinks in the heat. Hope all are ok.
The second guy was just next to my Brother-in-law. Apparently fainted whilst wearing jeans and a puffer jacket. Was like 27C today, so every chance it was exactly this.
Hope they are both alright.

Fans dream and sometimes dreams run a bit wild. Nightmares too. I'll settle for Rose looking like no pushovers early days. How far can they really go in the future? How the hell would I know? Good luck to them anyway and welcome to the squeaky bum league.
If I'm honest, a mid table finish this year would be good for me. We have a good backing and thr club is well run, no need to be setting our sights too high for this year.

3 way fight between Falkirk, Hibs and Bonnyrigg then!

NDP looking glorious in the sun.
Not able to go to the Hibs came, but looking forward to my visit a week today.

By top 4, I meant top 4 highest average attendances. That wasn't clear, sorry.

More than 450 season tickets sold so far, hopefully we'll reach 500 before the season starts. Superb backing for the club.
450 season tickets sold is phenomenal. For context, only the top 4 from League 2 last year had a higher average attendance than 450.

Bonnyrigg sign Connor Doan from University of Stirling.

Some more ground improvements posted today. NDP was looking great when I was picking up tickets last Thursday. Thoroughly looking forward to the new season.

My ticket for our cup game has Row C. Wonder if the Hibs fans are getting seats instead of standing?
How strange, mine says nothing at all.
Is it a ticket from Hibs, wonder if the "away" tickets are marked different.

Exciting to see some improvements happening at NDP.
A new covered enclosure is also on the way by the sounds of things. Will be over the existing terrace on the north east side of the pitch.

For what it's worth, Bonnyrigg do have planning permission granted to build a new enclosure north east of the current one. See here.
Sounds like most of the other work is absolutely achievable over the summer.
Fingers crossed we can get it done on Saturday, looks like 4 and a half busses currently filled and I suspect a lot of us will be heading there by car or train.

Edit - sounds like the work is already complete, so assuming the PP is retrospective.
Planning permission granted for a new turnstile at the north corner of the ground. This will allow fully segregated away support.
