Good comments from the Alloa chairman on Sportsound - "It's a good day for Scottish football".
I agree. Total buffoonnery from Kenny Cameron. Should be putting a positive spin on what's been a watershed day for Scottish football rather than whining - ICT had a vote and voted with the fans for Sevco to not be in the SPL. Fcuking deal with it, budget accordingly.
Whatever the weather, I'm proud of SCOTTISH FOOTBALL today.

This thread makes me think too much, and it hurts. In a good way though. Not in a psuedo good hurting bdsmhmfc way, but it hurts nonetheless. Roll on justice.

yes rangers signed up to the SFA rules and respective punishments that follow if the rules are broken, and nowhere in the rules does it say a transfer embargo can be imposed on a club
the problem the SFA now have is that they have been told by a higher power that their punishment was illegal by their rules and they have to review the punishment
But when the panel, and then the appeal panel both looked at the case they made up that punishment because they felt no other punishment suited the crime, so now the SFA are stuck because if they choose a different punishment (within their rules) then FIFA (and everyone else) will likely say "why didnt you choose that before instead of being dragged into court, also why did your appeal panel not spot this complete f**k up"
By making up their punishment for Rangers the SFA have effectively made a complete c**t of it
This, but by going to the court to say 'it's no fair' Rangers have overestimated their influence.

That is correct. They act against the associatiion thus ensuring the association has to hammer RFC !
Aye surely they either expel Rangers or it's an admission that Rangers are more powerful than the governing body of the national game. I think the SFA's hand will be forced.

The Scottish game has been verging on shambolic for a long time. It's now in complete and utter disarray. The SFA must expel Rangers FC and I feel their hand will be forced, they clearly can't be trusted to take any decision themselves.
