  1. His habit of wasting wages on midfielders that we didn't need, his habit of falling out with goalkeepers, his habit of talking total and utter bullshit anytime he was near a microphone. He's basically a bellend who's lucked out a few times and failed all the rest. He spent a small fortune to turn us into an average premiership team for a couple of years, and we are still paying for that ego trip.
  2. He jumped before we burned, he had a good season at ICT and jumped before that ended. He sees their relegation as a sign that he was awesome. Everyone else sees it as a charlatan getting out whilst the going was good. One good season at Hibs, then the old "mutual consent" chat, 9 months at Livi then dumped them when Hartlepool came calling. relegated Hartlepool then got sacked. Took someone elses squad to a League Cup win shortly after taking over, then jumped after the Scottish Cup final against us, almost as if he could see what was coming. If he was as good as many say he is, he wouldn't have ended up out of work for a full season, and then at Raith getting them relegated. He's a legend for that, right enough.
  3. Because he's a long line of managers that thought they were better than they were, fecked off and did nothing but fail. He's pretty much tried to rewrite his managerial career in order to get the Scotland job. He never stopped talking about how he was using Falkirk to move on with his career. That went well.
  4. No ta, Might be the evostick but I'm being chased around Callendar Park by Dods and McCracken. Easy to escape from though, all I have to do is turn reasonable tightly.. McCracken was an empty shirt pretending to be a defender..an upgrade on Dods though thats not saying much, as so was Balatoni..
  5. Brilliant comeback, thank you. I'd take MacGowan and Christie before I'd touch a centre half pairing with McCracken in it.
  6. Wife partner sister and mother. All the same person to you, aye?
  7. If those three have turned up, i feel sorry for the poor people of Paphos, if all the Russian gangsters weren't bad enough, shitty brown shoes is surely the last straw.
  8. Liam Dick will be lucky to make the season 11..
  9. I'd take that back three over a back four with Cracks and Watson at centre half any day of the week, yeah. Chrunchie putting amoruso on his arse 9 minutes in.
  10. Back three of Den Bieman, James and Sinclair. Have to admit, scary as that is, I've seen worse and would take it over McCracken and Watson any day.
  11. Board have just soiled their collective pants. Get the ticket money up front!
  12. I was behind the goal that Wright scored at and Ollie had his chalked off, we did enough to feel hard done by that day. Still hurts to think about. Haven't been to either of the other two, as that day still hurts like a b*****d.
  13. Or to put it a way that matters, we've been to three Scottish Cup finals in the "modern" era and lost all three of them.
  14. Ahm, yes. That will teach me to reply before I've had my first coffee of the day. I was referring to our performance in cup finals, so that point even though noone was talking about it, still stands. Good record in the quarters though, whatever that shows, given we have been rank most of the season..
  15. Shocking record when you actually look at it, given how many we've been to, you'd expect us to win one in a while..
  16. I'm sure the plan for most of the friendlies is to field entirely different teams in each half so that they get the match practice they need but at the same time, hopefully anyway, minimising the risk of injuries. Anyhoo, if the players have been keeping themselves as fit as they should over the close (big if, i know) then they shouldn't really be coming in "cold" as it were. Only time will tell, I guess.
  17. Albert Kidd and John Lambie would struggle to do a worse job. Unless things rapidly pick up, 5th is about as good as we can expect.
  18. Quietly looking forward to the season. At the very least it looks as though we will have a team full of players that give a damn. Now we just need to shoehorn a football brain into Pressley and we will be good to go!
