I think a bit of proper match going info has helped hugely and we have evolved to a much better place. Thankfully the days of Sky Sports subscribers from the likes of Ayr, Falkirk and Aberdeen calling English clubs we and dreaming up all sorts are well behind us. I’ve had quite a few messages of support to be fair I thought the one declaring I was the most influential poster in the history of this fine forum was a bit much but it was touching. There’s a few bashed egos throwing dots about in a rage but it’ll settle down and we can enjoy the proper discussion .

Fwiw certain posters are being dicks on the Barclays thread & I have to admit that Roberto Firmino is pretty much the best all round attacking player on the planet right now, if he gets injured then Liverpool will struggle to keep this standard up. I don’t really think I do that wb. I just happened to mention on the Spanish thread yesterday that I though that the 2 Brazilian goalkeepers were better than Oblak and it sparked a bit of debate. Liverpool are very much the hot topic of conversation they have been for years on here. If you check the Premier League thread I tried to change the subject to some of the other 19 teams yesterday numerous times. Anyway good night it’s late .
