Fair enough enjoy it lads and enjoy getting it up people who doubted you but all Iv ever seen from the teams in LEAFA you played was respect and praise so this is lacking in a bit class.

Remember you’ve also been on the other end of a result to LEAFA teams and I don’t recall posts like this.

Behave. It’s obviously tongue in cheek!

Anyway, the point is delighted for Pennies as they had to beat the best teams going in the East.  LEAFA happen to host most of them.  Really strong league.

The game against Sandys was one of the best I’ve seen in a long time.

    Cheers ;)

  2. Well done to Pennies. Deserved 2-0 winners. Apart from a possible penalty shout after a decent first 15 mins Vics were second best.  Still a very strong team mind.

    Pennies finally fulfilling their potential.

  3. Aye, well deserved win for Pennies. Could’ve been 5 or 6 if they had taken just their gilt edged chances but to to be fair the Doune keeper pulled off some cracking saves. Thought the ref was awful for both sides but at least it didn’t affect the outcome of the game.

Pennies played some good stuff but they will need to be more clinical if they are to win the final IMO.

  4. Well done Pennies and Fallin on another cracking cup tie. Fallin will be kicking themselves but they done well to come back from 0-2 against the run of play, I thought it was over when second goal went in, they proved me wrong.

Pennies have some class players and in the end it showed, the goal in extra time showed this.

Well done lads. Good luck to Fallin for the rest of the season.

I must agree. I felt we put a lot into getting something from the game that we ran out of legs in extra time. To be honest i thought Pennies were toiling physically after putting so much into the first half and there was a point where we had a good 20min spell where i felt they had nothing left. I was wrong. 1 or 2 guys from them were absolute stand outs. Number 14 up top was very good but the number 10 was outstanding. All over the park for the whole 120mins.  I would be surprised if that boy stays amatuer for long. Massive talent

Aye. Shaun was excellent. I only really watch the ‘big’ games but that was far and away his best game. Won nearly everything in the air and bossed the game. His goal in extra time was class.

Sandies also have some great players, especially going forward. No 10 going off injured was a big loss as he was brilliant first half, caused a lot of problems.  In saying that the guy that came on and scored the 2-2 equaliser was  also class.

I also thought after you equalising so late that the game was yours but Pennies were excellent in extra time and you guys had no more left.

    Good game lads.

  6. What a fantastic game to watch.

Pennies were excellent against a class Sandies team. Both teams well up for it.

Lots of drama with lots of goals, chances galore, dodgy ref, shite pitch and both sidelines giving each other pelters. Loved it lol

Give Sandies credit to come back at the death of the 90 minutes. I think they put that much into clawing their way back during the 90 minutes they were dead on their feet in extra time.

Anyway, well played both sides. A great game to watch.

  7. The "hill" you took on at 11.5 would be the Menstrie Brae leading up to Tullibody.

It really is a bawbreaker if your not fit. I done the Alloa 1/2 when I was 18 and 21 (now 33) and its a great route. Very scenic.

1:24 is a very impressive time by the way!

  8. Right, don't mean to be a wee so and so..........but............I'll post the weekend/or midweek single my £100 mate says( before it happens!)...............OK!!.............The only reason I haven't followed him as well is....................................................PRIDE!!!

  9. Going by the logic of the earlier post that said he knew a guy who just put on one single every week, yesterday who would everyone have put on? In my mind I'd have went for the Stevenage bet but I could've also bet Brechin as well. Whatta holocaust that would've been.

The moral is, you will never beat the bookie - simple.

That was me that posted that.

He rarely goes for really short odds and it helped him yesterday as he went for Airdrie ar 4/6. He did get slightly lucky on that I felt with goals in the last 10 mins. I was telling him about this thread and he said he basically picks a 10 team accumulator with odds from roughly 1/2 to Evs. He then scores them out 1 by 1 on who he least fancies out of the 10 until he is left with his choice...........simple but true.

£100 on 4/6 <_< so he was £66.67 up yesterday for a wee bit of research and discipline. He reckons he wins 4 out of 5 weeks on average.

By the way Hamilton burst my accumulator. Never bet against yer own team!!

  10. Sorry - I do not agree.

I think I have a better knowledge than the bookies when it comes to football betting. I will look through the full fixture list throughout England and Scotland and will pick my ONE bet for the day. This selection constitutes my main bet of the week. For example last night £100 on Blackburn to beat Sunderland @ 1.65. They won (albeit only just) and I walk away with £65 notes.

My selection boils down to who I think will win - nothing to do with the odds. The usual selection is between 1/3 to 1/1. I win on average 4 out of 5 bets. I am up over £500 this season by following this one tactic alone.

    I agree with this.

Discipline being the key word in this type of betting. My mate puts on £100 on 1 single bet he fancies every week. He was up £1500 for last season and so far £400 for this season. Christ thats a part-time wage!!!

Unfortunatley I have no discipline and revert to tried and trusted ;) accumulators and hail-mary's!! <_<
