Shame for the lad but if Murray doesn't think he can make the grade its the right thing to do for the club rather than paying a player who isn't going to play and its the right thing to do for Colin Wilson so he can look to find a new club where he can establish himself. Best of luck to the lad for the future hopefully it works out at another club for him.
Doubt as a youngster he was on a large wage but maybe Murray could get someone else in to bolster another area of the squad even if its only on a part time contract only if the budget allows of course

Just to advertise guys - ParsTV will be broadcasting LIVE the Fife derby next week from Starks Park. This is only available to overseas fans of both Dunfermline and Raith. The initial PPV price is £10 due to not having any set prices as yet (as we don't know what kind of numbers to expect to budget for - it's a kind of "trial run"). Board and coaching staff doing a fantastic job on a small budget now we need to convince the people of Kirkcaldy to come along and watch their team instead of watching the OF on TV

There is software you can buy to do it properly, but it's not cheap as you can see here. You'd probably also need a pretty high spec computer to make it work. I'm happy enough with the quality I'm getting doing it my way.

Thanks to the Falkirk fans who asked me to join them for a drink in the Back to The Wall bar while I was stood there like a spare p***k, much appreciated and some good banter before the game if I see your over for the return match I will certainly join you for a beer. Decided not to get the bus back after the match as you might throw me off half way after that score
Just a shame I had to shoot off after the match as a couple of post match pints would of been nice. Sorry I forgot your P&B user name but much appreciated and how football should be. Loved the story about the 4MPH tug boat on the way to Vaduz.

That is an absolute disgrace.
Firstly, there is nothing remotely offensive about what he said. Some of the Rangers fans, who weren't even there, may not appreciate the humour but tough on them. Are these the same people who would buy a Frankie Boyle DVD and then complain about it being offensive.
Secondly have any of these mortally offended sensitive wee souls ever been on the blower to their beloved club or e-mailed their chairman to complain about the songs and chants that come from their fellow supporters. Nah, though not, so its selective then this being offended by words.
Also, on what grounds has the guy even been suspended, as I find it hard to believe there is anything in a contract which suggests he is not allowed to show a sense of humour. Hope he gets a decent employment lawyer to take the club to the cleaners.
There is quite clearly no place for enjoyment in football any more. Fans can't stand without a little Hitler telling them to sit down. They can't shout because it upsets other people. Mascots are being complained about for standing in front of visiting fans with bars of soap or driving cardboard box tanks and now stadium announcers can't call a company by the name with which they registered at Companies house.
No wonder the game is dying on its arse.
And finally I hope that the wee cliping whingeing b*****ds who complained get their comeuppance soon. Karma man.
^This^ some people go out there way to be offended these days. I was at EEP when Sammy the Tammy did his tank thing against us and like 99.99% was embarrassed that anyone complained at what was a little bit of banter from the Pars. Everyone i met on Saturday gave me a bit of banter for being a Fifer and I would expect nothing less from the Falkirk fans.
Issuing an apology for this is ridiculous it was banter nothing more especially when it is to a team who spew bigoted bile in every ground they visit and think that's acceptable!!.

Three games in, trying to put together a competitive side with youth (albeit a very good youth team) Give the guy a fucking chance.
Surely this is about average for a Hearts manager under the current owner.
Agree he never had a plan B with Raith and used to leave subs to late to make any impact. With a larger squad of players at Hearts only time will tell if Plan B lacking was down to our squad size or his management..
Did a good job for us and I think the Hearts fans need to give the man a chance hate this sack the manager solution that every club has these days its a recipe for disaster just look at Hibs
Look at Dundee United first few games for Peter Houston were woeful wasn't he hammered twice by Rangers by 6 goals or something

Didn't make the Montrose game due to work, anyone know when tickets for the Dunfermline game are available to buy and where to purchase them as the only info i can find is about the Tuesday night sales. Guessing it will be from the club shop. Buying online would be so much easier as I live in England but I can get someone else to buy it for me i guess.

I'm just back in from walking my dogs and spoke to a newco neighbour I know.
After a few exchanges of usual neighbourly banter,he said that there will be lucky to be any football this season
.I asked him why and his reply that some QC was taking the SFA & SPL to court and filing complaints over Rangers handling and treatment since they went into admin and any EBT punishment and blah blah.Next up was his conspiracy talk of it was Celtic's lawyers who were involved with Regan in the complete stitch up towards the most successful club on the planet,and the complaint will suspend football of any kind in the country till the QC clears rangers name and has them placed into the SPL with sanctions against other teams involved with rangers demise and rangers will be compensated for lost revenue through libel settlements 
. Any rumours of truth about a QC taking any sort of legal action on the behalf of the gers ? or as I suspect he is just an arsehole of the highest calibre and was on FF or RM or other shitty gers website.
He is taking great enjoyment at what he calls it's everyone else's fault and Rangers were hard done by and SDM & CW and should be the only ones punished and as a result he hopes that many other Scottish teams are consigned into history by admin quickly followed by liquidation.He is quickly becoming my least favourite neighbour
.How could yo make the mistake of not understanding its everyone else's fault in fact lets stop the league now and give the Rangers all the cups and fold the other 41 clubs for cheating the Rangers out of lost revenue. Are there seriously bears as stupid as your neighbour ?

As AndyC said, at last night's meeting, Bert indicated they were looking for one more player, possibly Spence.
Also discussed was the relationship with Hearts, John McGlynn stated that there would be players coming to the Rovers, but only if it benefited both clubs.
Cheers for the info Zen Archer keeping up with everything that's going on in the Scottish leagues this week is a full time job. Also noticed on SKY text SFA might bring charges against Ally McCoist for his witch hunt that led to threats against our board and club along with others. This is 100% correct thing to do in my opinion as he was well aware of the consequences of his actions in stirring up the fans (Neil Lennon affair shows what can happen) so I hope the SFA make their point to stop anyone doing the same in the future.

Can see him signing, possibly within the next few days .Would be delighted with that addition in all honesty. Would give us a front three all with experience within the league.
Great if he signs team looked good against Ross County and seemed to play some nice football in patches. Is he likely to be the last signing or are there rumors of any other targets I appreciate the budget is limited so won't have much left. Missed the game on Saturday what was the attendance? Gutted dam work, some great players and i heard a great reception for McGlynn. Hope we get a good performance tonight will be making the trip for this one

It wasn't the headline I was talking about but this bit:

This is the first time that anyone at the club has spoken about job losses with the implication not just of playing staff going.
Surely this is common sense you can't have 50+ non playing staff in the SFL3 most clubs probably have a handful at most and they will be part time / volunteers SEVCO need to get real these cuts should of been made months ago in administration

Even with sanctions, they'd probably have survived in SPL or SFL1 - and now I don't think he can avoid the sanctions as they seem determined to try and transfer the Rangers SFA membership. In SF3 the sanctions will screw them. This is his doomsday, perhaps no Rangers FC?
Cheers seems he wants his pound of flesh, guess they may regret taking the SFA to court and i thought this would calm down after today. Who says closed season is boring

Can you explain to me what disappointing times you have had in your life as a Hearts fan?
Like most fans out side the OF there will to many to list. As some other have said i think you have missed to point yes there are good Rangers fans and i feel sorry for them its not their fault but they are far out numbered by the arrogant and awful ones who believe they have a given right to win everything, that the rest of the 40 clubs are pointless other to produce cheap players for the OF, that spew their bigoted bile at others and in our case threaten our club and board for daring to punish them for something they did. This is Scottish footballs chance to change things for the better surely even as a Rangers fan you must be bored of the pointless 2 horse race that has left us a joke around Europe. That is why Rangers must start in Division 3 allowing them to join the SFL1/SPL is a joke and it will be business as normal in a year and nothing will have changed and if nothing is going to change and we return to the OF strangle hold despite years of cheating then what is the point of the 40 teams outside the OF they might as well fold. That is why people are turning on their clubs and would rather not go back than accept them voting in a club that has no history, no records, no players purely because it carries the name Rangers. no other team outside the OF would ask let alone expect to start anywhere but the bottom, where are Gretna, Clydebank and Third Lanark?

F**king joke of a league we have in Scotland if the SPL need NEWCO they need to vote them in and deal with the backlash from their fans.Why should this be left with the SFL the SPL was set up solely for the greed of the big few clubs and to take money away from the SFL ones NEWCO must start at SFL3 or we are a joke and the laughing stock of football if it means clubs struggle then they will have to deal with it they had little thought for the SFL when they set up the SPL so why should we care now, no different from being relegated I would rather go into administration than let cheats join at the top.
I can understand many peoples stance on not attending another match and I respect your position. I will still attend matches as long as my team continues its stance and I cant see that changing as Turnball Hutton has been pretty clear on our position and I don't feel its correct to punish Raith Rovers as they will have done everything in their power to stop the SFA/SPL/SFL from this abomination well done the board!!
This was our one chance to change things in Scotland for the better be it bigger leagues, more promotion or what ever was best for the nation but as usual the SFA/SPL/SFL will blow it and we will return to the joke of a two team league we are run by a shower of s***e!!

. Be sad to see Baird go but hes done a great job for us and if he chooses to move on the best of luck to him. Would prefer he moved to the SPL or he will score against us next year

Not my thing never seen any reason to wear the oppositions colours even when someone has asked to swap a scarf at an away Scotland game it gets carried rather than worn i'm only at a game to support my team not both but each to there own and if the club makes a few quid to pay off some debts then so be it. Most likely sold to people who don't attend Starks/Celtic Park much as its hardly a red letter day to remember like a cup final or a European game.
