  1. It's a terrace at one end and stand at the other both covered. Apparently two rows in front of us is classified as Gold, that's another £35 up on my price increase and mines is the better seat. Someone commented on the price increase on twitter and the reply was the pricing was still cheaper than other clubs in the Pro12 and was required for the club to stay competitive.
  2. I'd noticed that when renewing my ticket today. They've gone with the same price banding as the Scotland season pass. Disgraceful the difference between the prices at Glasgow and Edinburgh considering the SRU will have a hand in setting them. I'm in the back row of the North stand right on the halfway line. My seat is noted as being restricted view even though it's not and as such I'm in the silver category. Good news that they've got the temporary terrace and stand behind the posts for the whole season.
  3. I still don't like them & saw further examples of their gloating lack of class yesterday so whilst I absolutely acknowledge their performance, both yesterday & throughout the season, I'll withhold congratulations, for they should be sincere when given, and on that basis I've none to offer. I will say they are new to the winning lark, so maybe in future they may learn how to behave with some amount of class. Loved this comment from the ulster forum, some are still bitter over their back to back beatings.
  4. Brilliant! Spent the last twenty minutes bricking it thinking Munster might turn it around. Fantastic for Glasgow and Scottish rugby. Hopefully the SRU can build on this and push things on from here.
  5. Glasgow Warriors starting XV for tomorrow. Surprised to see Adam Ashe miss out. Here's hoping...
  6. Agreed if you're playing the game just get on with it and for the most part players do, as a fan you've a right to feel aggrieved if you're witnessing poor decision making that can influence the outcome of the game.
  7. Ticket for the final purchased though I'm on the terrace behind the posts. I'm supposed to be going to Norway on Thursday with work, hoping I can postpone that. Glasgow didn't do themselves justice in last years final, hopefully the memory of that spurs them on this time around. Good way to cap a career at Glasgow for DTH, Niko, Big Al etc.
  8. I don't understand the criticism of the crowd at scotstoun, if you're angry at what you think is an incorrect decision be vocal about it. Otherwise the fans might as well not be there. The cheat stuff we could do without but I've no qualms about people directing there ire towards refs of opposition players. This whole nonsense in rugby that you should just swallow your medicine if you're on the end of poor decisions and get on with it does my head in. It also only seems to work one way for certain fans. Apparently Glasgow fans showed little class in booing ulster players or refs decisions but it's fine for Ulster fans to then whine like little bitches when the result doesn't go their way?
  9. My favourite part in one thread is a poster describing Glasgow as an average side with no real quality. The same Glasgow who've finished top of the Pro 12 this season, made the final for the second year running and just beat Ulster twice on the spin. Niko's theatrics aside it was a penalty, it wasn't the reason Ulster lost the game, they couldn't put Glasgow away first half and paid the price.
  10. Nice bit of bitterness from Ulster fans following last nights game http://www.uafc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=18124
  11. Tickets on sale at 9 for season ticket holders. Still to come down from the end of that game. Far and away the biggest high in watching sport that I've experienced. More so than the semi v Munster last season. Just hope to fck we can do it next weekend.
  12. Starting XV to play Ulster tomorrow. Ulster themselves have made 11 changes. Much tighter game ahead still hoping for a Glasgow win.
  13. It'll be a very different Ulster team next week. Motivated to get to a home final. Still yesterday in the second half Glasgow where excellent.
  14. Team to play Ulster tomorrow. No wingers or centres on the bench. Expecting a physical battle tomorrow.
  15. Glasgow v Ulster is sold out for this coming Saturday. It'll be tough but i'd hope for a Glasgow win! Munster should win against Dragons giving them hope for a home semi final, I've a feeling that Ospreys might slip up away to Connacht as they are pushing for the final European spot. Should be a good weekend. Other Pro 12 news is the potential expulsion of the Italian sides if they fail to pay money owed to the league and their replacement with London Scottish and London Welsh. Good news for the league if that happens? Certainly would be better for Scotland if players can be loaned to London Scottish and given additional game time at a competitive level. Gives them a 3rd pro team with out the additional set up costs.
  16. Ospreys next for Glasgow then Ulster. Tough finish to the season and likely to play one of those two again should they clinch a home semi final.
  17. 2nd last round of games will go a long way to deciding those positions. Glasgow at Ospreys and Ulster v Munster that weekend. I kind of think it's now or never for Glasgow as far as winning the pro 12 goes, current squad is at it's peak. Next season will be a write off with a number of players leaving this season and the squad will be decimated during the World Cup and six nations. Those seem to hurt Glasgow more than most given upwards of 10 players will be on Scotland duty. End of next season Hogg, Gray, Nakawara are out of contract and decent showings at the World Cup might see bigger money opportunities in England or France for them so maybe after next season a rebuilding phase for a few seasons.
  18. I'd fancy a win away at Connacht for Glasgow, they seem to be out of form during the past few games. Ospreys away will be a tough one, anything from that would be fantastic. Ulster at home always a tough game but I'd always back Glasgow to win at home.
  19. Leinster perhaps out of playoff contention? Assuming they win tomorrow they then have a big game away to Ulster in the next round of fixtures and it's a must win for both teams really. So tight at the top with Munster getting the bonus point win at Edinburgh tonight.
  20. Good bonus point win. Obligatory switch off in the second half to give Cardiff a glimmer of hope. Great for Hall to to score tonight. Of all the players leaving DTH will be the biggest loss I think, obviously they lose the leadership qualities of Kellock but DTH has been a fantastic player and points scorer for Glasgow. Maitland hasn't played enough rugby in the past two seasons to be missed and niko is too erratic at times at scrum half, if rather have a steady hand than an enigma at 9.
  21. Tomorrow's team, Weir back from injury, good impact players on the bench in Strauss and Nakawara. Happy to see Pyrgos back at scrum half.
  22. Pushing towards the 7000 mark in ticket sales for tomorrow's game v Cardiff. Big push in the last 3 games to make sure of a home play off semi final for Glasgow. Hoping for a bonus point win tomorrow. Anything away to Connacht and then a home win against Ulster should secure a spot in the top two.
  23. They kept hold of Grey and Hogg but Russell was released back along with Swinson and Seymour and the players stripped for tonight. http://www.glasgowwarriors.org/news/15/03/02/back-black
  24. 4 Scotland players return for tonight's game v Zebre. Should have more than enough to beat them. Will be interesting to see how many players will return fit enough to play against Leinster at the end of the month. Thought Russell might have played at some point tonight given that he missed the Italy game.
  25. Nakawara banned for 3 weeks. Initially a 4 week ban reduced because of his previously good record. However they take in to account two "down" weeks for Glasgow and his punishment ends up being 5 weeks in total. Strange that the all Irish panel would hand down such a ban when Glasgow have important upcoming fixtures against Munster and Leinster during that period.
