Not sure if I will leave work early to go to this... just such a faff to get to from Aberdeen....
Having wasted time and money to get there, be late and see 15 seconds of football before the call off I just dunno if i can do it again......

Brings a new meaning to "if you humm it, I'll sing along!"

Given Morton's recent form, the snow in Aberdeen and work commitments I've decided not to travel for this one.
Will I be able to watch it anywhere? (3 o'clock rules notwithstanding)
Listened to Dundee Utd / Morton the other week, and that kinda helped make my mind up. You guys are on some run!
Then our own current form just consolidated my decision!
That said I hope I miss a stellar Mo performance, and i'll never be allowed back!

We definitely missed Kane, I think he would have done something with our chances first half, and then it woulda been a different second half regardless of Bino's resurgence.
100% Daft fan who jumped the fence, and yeah he was swiftly brought back into line by other Mo fans. but poor show on the players who were gonna face up to him, they really shoulda known better than to engage.
Binos captain got a lot of stick last quarter from that same section of support, and was being a bit mouthy back n forth, but always with an ironic smile on his face.
Nobody's finest hour.
Surprised to still be 4th, other results went our way. Something has to change, or it won't last.

Oh aye 100%.... sometimes we look in the mirror and go "oh shit, it's me this time!"
We've all done it

As a Montrose supporter, I'm sorry yer guy was booed for needing treatment. We aren't (all) usually such dicks, but when you're getting slaughtered on the pitch manners go out the window.
I didn't make the game. but having read the QOS comments leading up to the game, and knowing the way we've played lately I just couldn't believe the result coming thru!! Was glad I never went in the end!
Can't help but enjoy the incredulous joy from QOS fans on this thread from 3pm onwards on Saturday tho. Makes good reading! Pure joy!

Montrose easily the most impressive side to turn up at TFS and were quite unlucky to come away without a point. Hope Ryan Williamson is playing just for the bantz.
He had his best game for us at the weekend, maybe he's hitting form!

I can't find anything in the Cups section of P&B, so asking here at our home thread....
Happy enough with Morton away?

There weren't many Montrose fans there, maybe 40 or so, but you wouldn't have known as we had nothing to shout about, other than poor refereeing and Hamilton timewasting from about 60 minutes onward....
Montrose were better second half, but not by much.... as someone above said we should have goals, but they just aren't happening.....
Frustrating......

We do seem to favour a long ball.... It looked like we had moved on from it, but lately it's as bad as ever...
Hoping Cove are still unsettled and we can capitalise.

I'm baffled as to how we managed to beat St Mirren after watching the rest of the games?!
I want Gardyne to be better than he is, and there are flashes, but it never quite materialises. That set piece in the second half at Arbroath, coulda been something! more of that please!!
Maybe we shoulda brought Matteus on sooner, he coulda done a bit of running...

Towler was honking for the pen I thought
indeed, he went in all guns blazing a couple of times. Expected better

He also looked very poor in pre season I thought. Kerr, Dillon, Towler and Quinn should have been 4 decent options at the back for this season but I can’t help but feel we could maybe use someone else in there now.
Good point
Where was Kerr??

I was at the game, and we were pretty rubbish, but Forfar weren't all that great either.
It was only 2-1 - could have been more, both sides had chances, so a tighter match than the comments suggest I'd say.
Not Aiden's finest game, but defender's mistakes will always be exposed.

There's brilliant sight lines from that stand at Montrose. I'd happily watch my football from a vantage point like that every week.
Good to finally see a game there. I'd previously only peeked over the wall years ago. I can claim it proper now.
Thanks very much, we like it..... Trouble with the stand is it's freezing on even a sunny day, so a lot of people choose the ground level slightly less freezing sunlit areas! Still not warm tho!

Beating St Mirren in the cup is like making love to a beautiful woman...
Doesn't happen very often?
Will only end in tears?

Just as the Liam and CJ thing gets put to bed, we go and buy another one with trouble looming....
That asides, he might be brilliant! Interesting that the went as far as to say he will partner Rory. which is something we have been screaming out for, someone who thinks like Macallister does.. Could be dynamite!
Do you think Gardyne will have to go? To release some cash?

Who is the keeper you have heard we are signing?
hope it isn't MacKenzie.... I never ever warmed to him. People skills of a peanut.

No comments on Saturday's game, does that kinda sum up how we felt about it?
Apparently Winker's consolation goal was sweet as a nut, so might watch the highlights for that.
How does everyone feel now the season is over? Relieved we survived another L1 season? Disappointed with 7th? I'm the latter....
We definitely underperformed more than a couple of times and it has cost us those places.
See lots of new blood next season I expect, but hope we don't lose our identity totally.....

But in other news, our Women's team are champion-ees! Come on ye WoMo! Amazing!
Excellent! And from their performances all season, they shouldn't be out of their depths in the Top Tier!

Might just waste a bit of money heading over to the dead rubber next Saturday to see if there is any kind of response from the team to try to end the season on slightly less of a low.
Very charitable of you!
I'm doing anything but......

Cash gate, no cards.
Or tickets in advance from Montrose v Inverness Caledonian Thistle (ticketco.events)
It's gonna be busy, a lot of neutrals coming along from what I can see.
