  1. Our leaking of goals against has certainly not improved from last season
  2. Poor **** team and we’re allowing them to look decent Dessers will definitely get a penalty 2nd half
  3. They will though, any less than £750k they’ll be moaning but still won’t be near Dens
  4. If Dundee fans want progress and signings they need to come out and back the team! Home attendances for the first 2 games of the season have been very disappointing. There’s a board and owner who have done more than anyone else for the last 40yrs, get off your arses, forget the dodgy fire sticks and back the team!!
  5. We’re in for 3 and waiting on responses, hopefully this weekend or beginning of next. Possibly a 4th coming in too
  6. Not been on here much lately but last night really shows up the level we’re at. I really don’t think Bowyer knows his best starting 11 or if he believes there is a best starting 11 in the squad, he’s chopped and changed all season and never found any consistency! Jury is definitely out on him, his January signings are no better than we had and in this league Byrne and McMullen start for me, also hate seeing wingers not playing on their natural sides, keep it simple ffs! Bottom line is, this league is exciting but the standard is poor, we’re not much better than any other team in it and whoever goes up will struggle big time! End of season re-builds are never a success and your season could be over long before it begins, but as per DFC seem to be a shambles behind the scenes with 3 signed players, that doesn’t help the team and I’m sure some of them will already have deals lined up for themselves and not too worried if we win the league or not Nelms is a problem but without his mates money we’re screwed! But hey, this is DFC, we don’t do conventional
  7. We have a distinctly average squad and team, Morton worked hard against us tonight and that was enough to win the game. Not sure Bowyer knows his best starting 11 or too much about the opposition but he seems to have inherited the past few managers tombola
  8. Confidence is massive in football and we seem to be hitting form at the right time. A couple of decent additions in January and despite the dodgy beginning we might just do this
  9. Robinson ahead of Rudden for me, holds the ball up miles better, superior first touch and all round better player. Ashcroft made a difference, Cameron and Williamson played well too and French looked better at right back than centre. Falkirk looked decent, especially their front three. Wasn’t much in it first half but thought overall we deserved the win
  10. Not sold on French tbh. Robinson looks decent enough but Williamson is no better than anything we’ve already got. Grayson did look decent in his first game but getting the impression he could turn out to be one of those players that flatter to deceive. A couple of big physical players needed, we looked quite weak tonight against Ayr
  11. Who does our scouting? Looking at what other teams in the league seem to find compared to our signings, whoever it is needs binned too
  12. Back 4 need binned! Midfield shown up as weak and one paced. Hopefully Bowyer learns this league quickly or we’re struggling
  13. Poor in defence and lack of creativity from open play was a worry. Midfield was awful and looked off the pace and inexperienced. Showed spirit but it was basic stuff from set pieces and poor decisions made life a lot harder than it needed to be. Goalkeeper position needs resolved, full backs needed too and have been for a while. New signing looked like he could be a handful and Rudden would be as well cutting off his left foot! Apart from that, Thistle deserved the win, better team for the first hour and looked pretty well organised and comfortable
  14. Typical Scotland, media spout pish about quality and strength of depth in the squad! They’re second rate, there’s no top class quality there, without fight they’re pish
  15. New manager needs named now to get working on signings otherwise it’ll be catch up and last minute unwanted dross and shite again
  16. It’s winston Ingram, left back, very one footed apparently
  17. Probably been posted on here before but what exactly is the relationship between John Nelms and the owner Tim Keyes? It astounds me that Nelms pretty much is the board and makes all the big decisions with little or no football experience, and in any other walk of life he’d have had his jotters long ago as he makes poor decision after poor decision with no repercussions
  18. Doubt there’ll be any change, Nelms has rarely made a good decision in his time running the club, he’s turning into a hindrance and actually stifling progress with constant poor appointments. Club needs an experienced manager to build a team, been too many marquee signings of names and connections who lack legs and athleticism for this level and an out of depth manager trying to shoehorn them into the starting 11. We have a pretty weak squad, probably championship level, with zero game plan or plan b when the inevitable happens. Not looking good
  19. A team without structure and too many without the legs or work rate to compete at this level. The McMullen substitution was absolutely bizarre, remove the only pace and willing runner both forward and back from the team at 3-0 probably sums up McPake as a manager! In all honesty I feel for him a bit as he’s clearly out his depth, should be absolutely nowhere near the job and is the result of another poor decision by John Nelms, one of many he’s made!
  20. Sleeves spoil it, would have been a classic otherwise
  21. He’s not coming out of this too well but I suppose it depends on who you believe, they’re all at I think
  22. I was slated on here for saying Nelms was slowly killing this club, I Stick by that. I’m not sure what he’s qualified as but he seems to make a hash of most things he has a say in
