The goal for Almeria to make it 3-1 being chopped off because of an accidental flailing hand catching Bellingham on his ear when challenging for the ball early in the move was very dodgy, and the ref tries to make it look more like a foul by booking the guy for it. But Vinicius Jr's goal being allowed to stand for the equaliser when he lead with his arm to get in front of the defender and even though he twists his body just as it hits him, it so clearly goes in off his upper arm and not his shoulder. And it's Barcelona who are being done for bribing refs, do Real Madrid just own them?

Just me then. It might impact some people understanding their energy bill because some have already struggled to understand that the price cap doesn't mean they won't pay over the amount that is widely publicised as the average annual cost.

Maybe if you hadn't been seduced by those extra special brown butter and rum mince pies in Asda you would have noticed on the bottom shelf Asda's own bog standard mince pied and iced mince pies for £1.75. Or maybe your local Asda just doesn't stock them? I've also seen them in Aldi too.

They're now telling everyone to evacuate the hospital (except the Israeli's say they're helping provide a safe route out after a request from a hospital director), where they are supposed to safely evacuate to is anyone's guess. Especially as they're now telling everyone to leave the southern city of Khan Younis, where many went after being told to leave the north. Now they're being told to move to the West of the city, and the Israeli's are "pretty sure that they won’t have to move again".
I really don't understand how many in the West are able to stand by and not condemn this. Apart from the SNP & the Green's in the UK, every other party seems quite happy to allow Israel to do whatever they want. FFS even the BBC are starting to question what's going on in this hospital.

Have a look at the forecasts for the price cap. It's down 7% in Oct but then expected to rise 6% in Jan, then potentially fall a couple of times (in Apr & Jul when you'll be using less) before rising again next Oct.
There's no big savings to make by fixing, but if prices increase unexpectedly, you'll be protected. So if certainty is important to you, it might be worth fixing.

Because other than the fact that she was the only nurse there for all the incidents, it's very difficult to prove anything, as these already ill babies were possibly given insulin, air, milk or had breathing apparatus temporarily removed, not physically attacked?
She was found guilty of 7 murders and 6 attempted murders, found not guilty of 2 attempted murders and 6 more they couldn't reach a decision on.
The first cases she was found guilty of were 2 babies they agreed there was evidence that she'd given them insulin, and there was another baby who had one where the baby had an unexplained amount of air in his gut. Other than that, it must have been very difficult to prove.

Wasn't it reported on Panorama that the unit was downgraded? So they still treat babies, but not ones as seriously ill as they did previously.
It wasn't just the deaths either, it was the number of close things when babies were saved from dying. They had 25 'incidents' in total they looked at, and all the other nurses were on shift 5 or 6 times at most in those cases. With the exception of Letby who was on shift for all 25 of them.

Good luck with it, and with getting help from carerswd.org, especially now post covid when social care is under so much pressure due to lack of and turnover of staff.
I've been involved with caring for family members in the past and combined with work it can be very difficult, so definitely recommend chasing up some help, whether its respite or so carers for your Mum (if she's happy with that). It often seems to fall the the one family member to do it, and it can be the relentless nature that is difficult, even if it comes from love and good intentions.

Got no words for the wankers who used and then left a disposable barbecue lying in the long grass next to a golf course at the weekend. It's off the main path of the park, along a dirt trail at the back of the golf course, who in their right mind would think aye this is a good place to have a barbecue in the middle of a heatwave?

The usual pish excuse is "it keeps people in a job" or "that's what the cleansing are for". Not sure how that works now when there appear to be so few of them employed they rarely empty the litter bins and someone litter picking is more likely to be a group of primary school kids and their teacher 'volunteering' to do it than a council worker.
It's bad enough in our towns and cities but in the countryside it really bugs me. Walked up a reservoir last year in an area that's not well visited and halfway up found a pile of discarded carboard ice-cream tubs with the wee plastic spoons. It was well away from anywhere that you could've bought the ice cream from, and even a mile from the nearest they could've driven, and they'd chucked them at their feet halfway up a hill. A brick to the face sounds like a valid punishment.
The lazy fuckers who let their dogs shit everywhere too and don't pick it up, right in the middle of a path, or outside your gate. I'd shoot the lot of them.

He can be entertaining, unfortunately his team were anything but last night and the behaviour of Mourinho, and the entire Roma contingent, was pathetically bad. It was a awful game to watch.
