No, it was all geared to 'Alan's the victim'. He uses TF's lack of reality for why he wasn't successful. Top 4 aspirations with bottom 2 budget. The lack of quality in his signings, the choice of Darren Jackson as assistant, the complete lack of organization in his team's were all glossed over in favour of "some of the existing lads didn't take to the English lads." I think that is what has annoyed me the most, I get that Jim has to make the team hard to beat but plenty of teams have drawn their way to relegation. Decent draw but in all honesty once the small teams are out, the cup just becomes more games against the same teams. Us playing each other 3 times in quick succession just sums it up. The league needs expansion so we play teams in the league twice, just to kill the bloody Groundhog Day feeling.
