It's not a given yet but I think we should be ok goals wise. Duggan scored 15 for East Fife playing upfront on his own all season with no real service. Buchanan has goals in him if we can get the right service to him and Milne should hopefully add some goals from midfield. Fingers crossed it all works out.

Not disagreeing with they 2 but Milne throughout his time at Cowden was one of their better players. Maybe not on the other 2 level, which has shown with where they ended up, but that doesn't mean he wasn't as key player.

I'd be happy with the Milne signing. A young attacking midfielder who as someone mentioned a page back is coming of a title winning season. He was a stand out for Cowden and by sounds of it a good player for Montrose so if he signs i'll give the lad a chance to show what he can do. At 24 he's still only going to get better and maybe a move to a full time team will help that.

I can see the Flood one being true with Mckinnon working with him at United. Tbh didn't expect us to get Flood anyway same with Cardle both seem to have much better offers at championship level . Hope the Loy one is a wind up.

Someone on the Rovers fantalk saying Flood and Loy both rumored to be signing for Morton over the weekend and they have also made an offer to Cardle.

Unless we are willing to let Vaughan just walk out the door I can't see how Livi can afford a fee for him. Are they not still pretty skint?

Done well in the one year he was with us. First 6 months was hit or miss, he was unlucky with Vaughan getting injured early, but after a successful January window we were brilliant 2nd half. He aims to play good passing/attacking football so if he is backed by owners he should have you challenging for top 4. Would have him back at Raith.

FFP saying that Euan Murray has signed a new deal and expected to be announced soon, great news if true. Other players that have been offered new deals have better financial offers on table from other clubs so its a wait and see with them. We are also looking at a goalie whos dad has Raith connections. Only one I can link of is Robbie Thomson who would be a good signing.

Listening to Barry Smith's interview's today and all year its no wonder the players have zero confidence and fight. The guy is out his depth. I think if we had McKinnon or McGlynn managing us on Saturday you would have seen the entire team running through brick walls to get over the line. Doesn't feel like they are willing to do that for Barry. Smith also mentioned that he's been debating with the players whats went wrong. Its not the first time this season either. He is the manager he should be setting the team up tactically for each game with a clear plan to change it if its not going well. Its evident that Barry has no plan B and possibly barely a plan A. If Saturday goes exactly like the last 2 games I hope Smith walks. He won't though so its up to Mr Sim to show us what ambition hes got for our club.

According to Bo'ness United twitter they have taken Ryan Stevenson on loan. A player with good potential hope he does well.

After the Brechin game where we were relegated apparently Cuthbert was quite vocal towards Yogi taking his share of the blame for the relegation.

Furtado would be great signing. If we can add a defender on loan that should see us ok for the rest of season with guys like Bene, Mchattie and Barr to come back.

If we could bring these 2 in early I think that would give our title hopes a huge lift. Doubt we will have the finances unless Sutton loan is free. Just hope its not apart of a deal involving cash Vaughan going to them. They are about to cash in on Morgan going to Celtic.

Was hoping for better news regarding the injuries but it's clear that something has been plaguing Barr for weeks now so best he gets it sorted. Get Lennox back in goals, Davo back in defense with Murray out on left and let young Mckay get a run of games. Was hoping we could start to see Vaughan playing in behind the strikers but with Barr now out i'd assume he will be playing wing again. I just hope we aren't rushing these guys back no point them being out longer. Mchattie has been a complete waste of money if hes not out injured hes playing with injury. I assume he is on decent enough money......Could of had a decent left back on loan and maybe even enough for a winger.

If our only real casualty outside of Lockes signings is Stewart I can live with that. Been a good servant but we have retained better players. Good luck to him.

Although this might not be an exciting signing it could be a whole lot worse considering the names that have been mentioned. Hes got 7 years coaching experience at varying levels. He obviously meets the criteria of playing young players from the development team and at 43 hes still young which will fit into this long term plan the club has. The way I see it hes still to have a real success at a club and hes young enough with decent experience so hopefully the ambition and hunger is there. Lets give him a chance see what he can do. Also worth mentioning that a few East Fife fans were telling me hes the reason they went from 8th and struggling to almost making the play-offs. Lets wait and see!

Got to say I am annoyed that the board didn't make a serious move for Aitken. Its probably between Bollan,Young and maybe Lennon. If thats the case then I don't see how Lennon isn't the best man for the job. I personally don't see how Bollan fits into this 5 year plan. In his defense didn't the livi team that won back to back titles have a squad full of young talent like mcnulty, scougall, watson etc. I pray and hope that it is someone like Danny Lennon but I think it'll be between Young and Bollan......just need to decide if we take a gamble on inexperience.

Has Vaughan indicated that he doesn't want to stay. Was hoping he'd be one that at least gives us another year. He's only 21 had a very bad injury which the club stuck with him through. He stays as our main player and hits 15/20 goals and help us get promotion.....would be a good way to repay all these years of development and sticking with him through injury.

That's what the most frustrating thing is all Raith fans knew that Locke would be trouble from the start. I think realistically it will be Darren Young. If it is the I hope he reaches his potential but out of him and Aitken I would lean towards Stevie. Either way I think its only a matter of time before Aitken gets a chance at a full time club.

Looks like the 2 favorites for the Rovers Job is Danny Lennon and Darren Young. Would hope that we still have Aitken on our radar. Done a great job for you guys and should have been given the job last summer. On the whole how did Vaughan get on at you guys?

Talk of Lee McCulloch taking Kilmarnock until the end of the season. Wouldn't be far fetch for this to happen then Yogi goes there in the summer after hes helped secure us?
