Starting to think Green sprinkles Prozac on his cornflakes. Hes barking mad.

We only usually hear about the taxman and ticketus being owed money but never the wee man wi the papershop owed £500. Or the tyre folk owed £48. Its truly galling that these small businesses are owed such pitiful amounts and yet that clown Green is talking about paying an ex player £12k a week.
In the name of all thats good in this world, please let Rangers fade into history fast. At least that way they might preserve some of the honour and dignity of those great players who graced Ibrox and not least those poor souls who lost their lives in the disaster.
Finish them off quickly for goodness sake.

Fishing is the most popular active sport in the UK. Also the sport with the highest accident rate.

Add to that the way King reacted the other day and you just know somethings going on. Hes no exactly a clean tattie himself so im pretty sure he can spot another of the same ilk. If Green is bluffing his case then hes messing about with some pretty
unhinged characters. Remember what those nuggets from Ayrshire sent to Lennon?

Could it be that's because there is no-one in the Green Fantasy Consortium other than Green himself ?
However, in true 'Off The Ball' team-of-the-week stylee, how's about the people who should be in Green's consortium ?
May I start off with Jimmy Lloyds AreNoBank (ooh, shockin', I know ! )
I think that youve hit the nail on the head there. There is nobody in the consortium and its all a big bluff.
Surely, somebody,.. anybody, whos putting money in would want the fans/customers to know things
will be ok cause im onboard. Unless as some suspect its actually Whyte at the back of all this and
cant be seen to be involved.

This from Billy Ocean's biog. on Wikipaedia (I shit you not ) :-
Early life and stardom
"He was born in Trinidad and Tobago to Grenadian parents, and moved to Govan, Scotland with his family at the age of eight.[3] Ocean's musical influence came at an early age of his life, as his father was a musician, and realised he was in line to follow those ambitions as he was growing up. During his teenage years, he sang regularly in Glasgow clubs[3] while also working as a tailor in Glasgow's St Enoch Centre.[citation needed] He released his first single in 1972 on Spark Records as Les Charles.[citation needed] He is a supporter of Celtic, despite growing up in Govan. In spite of his support of Celtic, he is rumoured to be a member of the Sevco consortium, led by former Sheffield United Chief Executive, Charles Green, who have recently bought a controlling stake in Rangers F.C.."
The Saviour has arrived.
PMSL. That is a cracker. At least hes got the right first name and sings about the queen.

So when the CVA fails on Wednesday and Greens boys bail out, what happens then?

Whos going to pay H&D when this is over?

Green is apparently going to get £2m in shares for his troubles and will be gone within the year.
Looks like Mr Whyte is peeking roond the door on this deal.

Could it be that Green has realised that this takeover/development/asset stripping project just isnt going to happen?
Has he realised hes bitten off more than he could chew and doing his best to finish off the cva so he can walk away?

I thought Green said hed accept the transfer embargo?

As for Guttuso. he thinks theres 4 or 5 clubs wanting him. Well on that sort of money they wont be in Scotland and i cannae see Joe Jordan signing him.

£12,000 a week? That's supposed to be cheap???
And we can't afford to pay Tokely £1,200 a week!
When will any of you join the real world?
And this is what they believe is fighting for the very survival of their club?
Paying money they dont have to an ex player. Bonkers.

Its also far too little, far too late.
If you get rid of these players they cant seriously be looking at bringing in someone else on 12lk per week (regardless of how much is being saved losing current players)
You own dozens (if not hundreds) of companies/parties a HELL of a lot of money. Bringing in any player and paying them 12k per week is an absolutely outrageous suggestion.
Do you think Green is spouting this nonsense in the hope that the CVA fails?
Or is it a case that these people are so deranged that they have lost all sense of reality and just continue on as normal with fingers in their ears?

They dont have 3 years of audited accounts for a start.

Is this loan Greens consortium are giving to the creditors like those Murray made via the EBTs? Will it never really be paid back?
0 -
That's a nonsense argument though. Rangers WILL come back in some form as a newco, so you'll be collecting taxes from that even after you kill the oldco. It's not as if the newco can take the hump with HMRC and decide not to pay taxes, that would be illega...oh.
And if HMRC has been mucked about in the past by "oldco" they will demand payments in advance.

Ive got a great idea.
Why dont we turn Ibrox into a super casino. Loads of jobs and that.
Bet nobody thought about that eh?

Yes, but there would be a statutory repair notice served on the owners first, potentially with the council stepping in to carry out said repairs and suing the owners. That would be a laugh.
And the big question being who the new owners are? Im not sure who actually owns the place the now.
Is it Whyte, Murray or H&D?

A derelict build can be knocked down whether its a listed building or not. If its in a state of decay and a danger to the public then its a gonner.

As for the suggestion that "politicians" should be involved, well it's good to see that they have all backed off now they realise that voters don't like tax dodgers.
Politicians should be encouraging them tae pay their bloody tax!

If the new owners get rid of the name they might just get rid of the shame. The stigma attached to Rangers will live on.

Why wont he name his backers? Is it because one of them is banned from any level of Scottish football for LIFE?
If he say where the money came from then HMRC cant accept a CVA. The money could be dirty or laundered.
