My own thoughts are we'll have Rangers back in the SPL again by then and we will see another extended period of Celtic and Sevco domination. Pretty much where we are now but with smaller clubs suffering from disillusioned punters spending their Saturdays elsewhere.
Make that 5-10 years and you are probably right but what will happen is that Sky will use it to lower their contribution given that Al-Jazeera is coming down track one to offer them genuine competition in sports televising in the UK and Al-Jaz will only be after the EPL and CL.

Ah right, the quick and vociferous NO was due to anti Rangers prejudice and nothing to do with the threats and security costs. Hmmm...
I firmly believe that the other early NOs were for genuine reasons but that the Raith NO was a direct result of Drysdale's malice.
I don't want RFC to be in the first division, I am merely making a point.

Peterhead Chairman, Rodger Morrison, has been very clear in his opposition to Newco going straight in to Division 1. His interview with our local radio station earlier today is available on the Peterhead FC website if you want to have a listen.
In a nutshell, he's viewed the proposals and nothing's changed his mind, sporting integrity is paramount and he expects a heated debate when the clubs meet at Hampden on Tuesday.

Morrison had Celtic in January, the Saturdays in June and he is desperate to open the new season with a home game against Rangers, full house and TV cameras present. This has more to do with financial integrity than sporting integrity and he should have the honesty to say so.

Slightly off the topic but I figured this could go in here if it hasn't been posted already, but if anyone is looking for what is supposed to be clarity on the relegation/promotion situation, Raith director Eric Drysdale (yes, of the same fame of getting abused by Orcs as a result of fat Sally's witchhunt) posted this on the Raith fantalk forum:
Interesting that Drysdale has such an eye for detail given that he tried to force a transfer ban on Rangers when the rules did not permit it. In light of Raith's quick and vociferous NO I think it would be safe to suggest the upstanding Mr Drysdale wouldn't have been a good pick as a neutral by the SFA.

Honestly!
They have discussed, and been advised, not to inflam the situation....this is a club that have had bombs, bullets, physical attacks...just as many Celtic fans as Hearts, Killie etc etc have the same views on newco
bollocks, anyone with access to Google and the ability to do a thorough bit of searching know exactly why Celtic are being quiet

Who mentioned EBTs? I merely spoke about the the support us or go to hell that has been expressed. EBTs, debt aren't corruption. Bribery is.

I have read your letter but I am afraid I cannot act as to do so would expose the double standards at play here. The EBT thing...........it's shite, there has not been an outcome to the case and several EPL teams have admitted using them yet are not being classed as cheats. The whole non-payment of tax equals cheating it bothers me, we have let Atletico Madrid keep playing unpunished despite two years of non-payment of taxes and a total tax debt of of 115m Euros without fines added on. We even turned a blind eye when Atletico found 40 million to buy Falcao rather than pay off some of that tax debt. You see we at UEFA believe that when it came down to it 11 Atletico Madrid players beat 11 Athletic Bilbao players on the pitch so they are the champions.
My hands are tied, you probably have the least corrupt league in Europe. Suck it up, grow some balls and take your anger out on Sammy the Tammy.
