  1. Nice to see so many Clydebank fans at the game but they must be the worst support I've seen at bellsdale since the last time they were there absolute roasters, they should be ashamed the way they went on when the Beith player was down injured and then some of them had the cheek to clap as he went round past them, heard them chant cheat on more than a few occasions as they never got a decision, delusional if they think their serious contenders for the league showed no ambition to win the game in the second half and were happy with their point, looks like we'll have them in the west league for a while yet.

Underwhelming signings for beith so far guess its to be expected given money will no doubt be earmarked for elsewhere.

Not as underwhelming as your posts under your countless different names, you clearly have no knowledge of junior football with your observation about Beith and their signings, Beith are going about their business in a professional manner with a new manager that's brought an enthusiasm and energy to the job this I'm sure will be reflected upon the team on the pitch in the coming seasons, but thanks for your concern but save it for the clubs and teams that need it.

Not built on a slope, jeezo that's original never heard that before you missed out we also have a Scottish cup 2 premier league titles and 2 west of Scotland cups in the last decade, your lot won't get any of them.

So you can slate other folks facilities but they can't question yours? What you've won in the last decade isn't the issue you raised in your original post

My original post was about the lack of facilities at new tinto park, nothing to do with Bellsdale but you chose to bring that up with a snide comment about a slope which wasn't relevant but well done trying to deflect the topic of conversation, I genuinely believe people will stop going to this ground in the days when there is poor weather and I think that would be a real shame although I see others think different.

  5. Got to laugh, these clubs get these Astro pitches built as it's the way to go for some clubs , we get told it's the sign of the times we need to move forward then they expect folk to enjoy the poor facilities they put in place for the paying public, but it only probably effects visiting fans as Rossvale have a small amount of supporters anyway, place is a joke and let's down the junior game.

  6. Sounds just as bad to be honest , absolute garbage these types of grounds and let down the Juniors , although I don't like the AstroTurf I appreciate this is the way to go for certain clubs but a bit of built up terracing and a cover surely isn't too much to ask.

  7. Can only agree about Today's game at new tinto park , don't think I'll go back near it to be honest until they provide a covered area soaked to the skin earlier in the season when we played Benburb and the same today not an enjoyable occasion even when we win I'd rather it had been off, surely the two clubs could manage a small enclosure of some sort for the paying public

There would be about between 450 and 500 there, no more. Like the Blasties at the last home game Beith would have been lucky to have filled the one bus that came.

Beith must have had a 100 seater bus then cause that's near or damn it what we had down for the game, looked like a decent enough crowd around the 400 mark.

Agree and the no4 is one of the worst players I've seen in a long time.

Back handed compliment for Ryan Docherty as he was decent for Beith today, think we all tend to give more stick to the players in the opposition that we begrudgingly admire, I was wanting Wilson booked for his continual lead arm every time he went for a header must have had 5 or 6 fouls and nothing, quite ironic the Talbot fans shouting for Sheridan to stay on when he was going off injured just shows that sometimes football fans can be blinkered and only see one team, well done on your victory today well deserved.

  10. Thought at the time it was a dreadful decision by the referee to give a free kick against McIllroy, clear penalty for me how he saw it that was a mystery, didn't think it was a red for the keeper but it was just bizarre the whole incident, also he got the Bradley one wrong as well so no bias just poor refereeing for me.

Only calling it as I see it. Been travelling around the grounds watching Buffs for many years now, so my opinion is based upon my experiences. Sorry that you don't seem to like that.

That's fair enough but think it's better to say nothing if you can't say anything decent, I do understand Beith won't be popular in Kilwinning after beating them to the Scottish cup 2016 and more recently when they imploded to leave Beith league champions.

In all the times I've been to Pollok, there's always good banter with their fans, unlike at Beith or Talbot. Always a pleasant trip to Pollok, although better when Buffs win.

Great goal from Monti yesterday, he was always going to celebrate in front of the Pollok fans, give and get and all that.

Syme and Maitland were magnificent in defence and Ben Lewis won a lot of ball in good areas. The whole team worked hard for the win, Hanvey and Gowser off the bench made a difference too.

Hope McCloskey is okay this morning, looked a sore one when he went off.

Glad you enjoyed your day at Pollok but there's no need to bring other clubs down to make your point.

Beith Juniors 4 Rutherglen Glencairn 1

(Beith scorers - Keir Milliken, Paul Frize, Darren Ramsay, Connor McGlinchey)
    (Glens scorer - Dale Simeon)

Pictures and full match report to follow.

Kevin Green and Jaimie Wilson with the first two Beith goals .

  14. John has mainly operated for Beith as a centre midfield player more defensive minded he's a decent young player, he scored our goal in the west of Scotland cup final last season and had a fine last two or three months at Beith towards the end of last  season starting almost every game in that period.

  15. Darvel will win their league comfortably there's no doubt about that, thoughtsome of their players today were as good as there is in the Juniors, they were well up for it and that's fair enough even although the time wasting thing near the end of a game they had under control was amusing considering it was a friendly, they didn't hold back and that's fair enough , but modesty is definitely in short supply among their supporters that's for sure.

  16. Well he's certainly doing a lot of talking most of it total nonsense, as every cup final it's on the day, good luck to all the Beith players and management for Saturday thought we were unlucky not to win it last season and it would be nice to round off a decent season with a trophy.
