Edit - beaten to the punch, kudos Master. He has indeed retired in a huff over said caning. Time to buy shares in Strongbow.

  2. Did Chick Young just use his position as a BBC presenter to massively plug ST sales for TRFC?

I don't understand how one organisation can have such obviously disparate agendas. They bankroll Mark Daly and basically take the first step (MSM wise) in dismantling the old Rangers. They gather evidence that shows cheating and employ an expert in administration to provide counsel on a gross conflict of interests. They doorstep previous regimes trying to get answers to some pretty sharp practices and highlight the fact that it is Sammy the Mechanic that has been the butt of the joke.

Then they let a disgraced Murray sympathiser air-time to help drum up business for a new model Rangers who are careering towards the rocks faster than Whyte could hope to waddle! And this when it's obvious it's Sammy who will be left pointing where on the doll the bad men touched him.

What a fucking confused and parasitic little broadcaster they are turning out to be.

  3. It's more than crass it is GIRUY from WATP to every creditor (and that includes every person in this country as HMRC were the biggest creditor).

Not only do they walk away from their debts pleading its all somebody elses fault, they seem to completely fail to see they are crashing straight down the same path as before with players on unsustainable contracts. Black / Sandaza / Kyle / Alexander / Broadfoot there is 5 players that if the figures are even close to accurate can only see Admin 2 : The Green Sequel .

If Sandaza does go to Ibrox I hope that they are aware that he will be cup tied for Europe after playing for the Saints..........

    Oh thats right :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Totally agree. Not only is it suicidally imprudent it also shows the manager cannot operate within the confines of the league he's in. This is panic buying at its most vulgar and, IF Hughie is here for the long-haul, it won't have escaped his notice that Sally has no confidence in his own ability to identify or nurture a player. What he's essentially doing is playing Championship Manager with the money of those daft enough to be stirred by some empty rhetoric. This is a toxic recipe and the powers that be would be better served trying to curtail such politically insensitive spending, and subsequent grandstanding, than getting bogged down in the what ifs of TRFC's demise.

  4. Leggo's blog today is hilarous - Aberdeen, Dundee United and and Hibs fans - did you know your all bigots, the rest of us are just idiots.

I also liked how he said Jardine and McCoist's statements were measured, the only thing measured about anything either of these clowns since the whole scenario started is the drinks that they are obviously both consuming a hell of a lot off.

Getting thoroughly fucked off with every spiteful TRFC fan calling all and sundry bigots now. Lexical empowerment is often a good thing but if I see two fat blue-tops greeting each other with calls of "Yo, my bigot" and giving each other a complex hand-shake there'll be a murder. There was a lassie on Facebook last night who was accused of being a bigot just because she didn't follow football...

  5. I`ve been watching this unravel since the start of February and I`ve passed a few comments on the manic utterings and diatribe thats been spouted across the forums. The usual responses lack any sort of coherent answer so I`m not holding out any hope this time either but I can`t help but get the feeling that all the armchair stockbrokers,IFA`s, accountants, bankers and lawyers are refusing to see the financial reality of what`s sitting in front of them. Stop spouting shite for 2 minutes and have a look at the actual net spend of each of the SPL clubs during this transfer window and compare against the last 5 years. I also posted previously that clubs would start to look for savings at youth level first which is always first under review and sure as fate at least 2 SPL clubs have started looking at cutting back on the amounts they spend on youth development etc with more to follow..... Can any of the clubs say with certainty or to paraphrase "confidently predict we`re gonna be fine!"

Not without kids you`re not. Oh and save me the Orc sympathiser,Sevco apologist, Jim Traynor, etc, etc pish. I was fortunate enough to have made a living from the game, thats where my interest lies and its the same for most players even today. Their first loyalty is to earning a wage to support their families and they are not remotely interested in the bollocks that gets thrown around on internet forums or radio phone ins....

So anyone care to answer my original question as to what their clubs actual net spend is within this transfer window compared to the last 5 years???

What would your solution to the "problem" have been then?

  6. Because he says so - that's how.

Have you not been listening to the man?

On Saturday's Sportsound he was stating that the league structure would be re-jigged with TRFC invited back to the top-tier as a fact. He wouldn't reveal sources - and R Gordon kept defending the diddy-position by pointing out there would be no slacking off in the bampottery in a year's time - but he was spouting it like a member of the Illuminati, in that sleakit and condescending manner that he's got off pat.

  7. Hughie being asked to explain himself is vaguely thread-related. I think the comments were a bit of a shot to nothing delivered to either incite the sceptical support to buy ST's or to scuttle the emerging newco before they got out the traps. If enough Orcs were convinced by such reverse-drivel then he may have a viable business on his hands. On the other hand, given they're still on probation as it were, there's every chance this will be the final straw in determining their league status and he's just added a little more poison to our game before he sells the assets and rides off to the Dales with his pockets stuffed with Scottish notes.

For some time now, I have felt that there must be more we could be doing to out those corrupt b*****ds at the SPL/SFA, who are conniving to kill us off.

Rhegan is now less of a threat since we now have our license. He can be dealt with in good time.

Doncaster and his new found allegiance with the Slitty-Eyed Top***** who is really running Scottish fitbaw, are more of an immediate threat to us due to their sneaky, underhand plans to strip our titles.

We need to use every dirty trick we can to get the proof that will destroy Liewells plans. Whether its bribery, blackmail, or any other way to find any skeletons that they have hidden away.

Even historically. By all accounts, the Kelly family lied and cheated for years during their tenure at the pedodrome.

Torbett Towers and Hampden must be full of low paid office staff. Cleaners, tea ladies, secretaries, caterers etc. I wonder if any of them would have access to emails, pictures, documents or conversation and could be bought off, maybe using some of the RFFF funds.

Any little snippets we can find on these c***s should be posted up on forums, face book, twitter etc. The more shit we throw at them, the more chance that some of it will stick.

People can be vetted for any possible chance that they might support our cause. They can be approached and offers made.

It makes you wonder if that's how the BBC, w****r.gif Channel 4 w****r.gif and the rest of our enemies w****r.gif have gathered the so called "proof" to help their crusade in hammering us. I'm sure they have in some way or other.

Imagine if the thread in here today with the pictures of liewell and doncasters sneaky meeting had been on video, and we could actually hear what was being said,……….

Imagine if at the next SPL board meeting, a tiny camera, hidden in a plant pot could be recording every word of their corrupt plans to stitch us and the SFL clubs up and the footage leaked onto YouTube. That would nail their coffin firmly shut and prove that the corruption in our game, that we so much difficulty in proving was rife.

Pens and wrist watches etc with tiny hidden HD cameras are available these days.

James Bond stuff, I know. But you know what………if Bond was a fan of a fitbaw team, you can guarantee it would be the most Quintessentially British Club in the land. uk.gif

Amusing. I can see Bomber in a tuxedo playing baccarat against Blatter for "aw fitba".

  9. Yes, you're right. 'Instinstively' was perhaps the wrong word as we are indeed talking about learned attitudes and behaviours. What I was getting at of course is that these people sing these songs and display the accompanying attitude as a gut reaction to the world they inhabit, without recourse to reason, thought or compassion. But you're correct - they don't have the excuse of responding to an innate instinct.

Didn't want to come across as a semantics Nazi but the missus was shouting that my chicken supper was getting cold so i couldn't expand at the time. Yeah, this is what gets my goat more than anything, significant numbers of the OF support fall into a pack mentality without actively thinking things through. I've worked in Glasgow all my life and I can spot people a mile away who have just latched onto an OF team as a short-cut to social or professional acceptance. They've no interest in the football other than what they can get from the back page of the DR on the bus in the morning. And we all know it's the members of the pack most desperate for acceptance that will start the offensive chants or hold the vilest opinion to show the rest they're "for real". And the more that I type, the more I realise that despite being a long-term lefty, I'm coming to think that ethnic cleansing may be the answer.

  10. In fairness Kincardine, that was a straight and honest answer, with little attempt to gloss over matters.

However it was a fucking depressing read for anyone who doesn't instinctively despise Catholics.

You can't instinctively hate Catholics. If you could it would imply it's innate, which it isn't. If it was then it would be forgiveable, like hating spiders because you're frightened of them.

The whole point is that most The Rangers FC fans have learned to hate and the club has actively encouraged this trade in ignorance. This is what I find most depressing in any case.

  11. Could be wrong, but I think the issue being referred to is more to do with them being on the SPL page rather than what they are called.

Nope, think you're right and I've got the wrong end of the stick. The PA announcement re acceptable nomenclature was just this morning so it was in my mind.

Haven't looked much at the BBC since joining this forum funnily enough but a quick glance shows the only TRFC stories on that page are with regards to Hughie's charismatic condemnation of SPL (and SFL) clubs in his pre-match dribble, and McCoist's little ride on the duh train about hostility from the SPL, so would appear to be in the right place content-wise.

  12. What's the Hampden roar there - I take it some Sevco fan decided to celebrate his sides very first game by clobbing together a banner declaring someone a 'paedo'

Who was it aimed at ?

Perhaps he just mispelt 'panda' !? :P

No, but he did manage to mis-spell paedo. The polis will catch him no bother though, he's got "King Billie", "F**k the Pepo" & "1609" tattooed on his forearms.

  13. Rob's BBC Sportsound quote of the game: "105 year old Brechin against this new Rangers who are only a few weeks old"

The Orcs on SevcoMedia will be beelin' :D

  14. Can you please learn how to do a simple quote or copy/paste? It really isn't all that difficult. :)

Baws, thought I'd got shot of that before it was picked apart.

The post comes from another P&B forum - http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php/topic/171700-challenge-cup-prize-money/ and was merely pointing out the context of the ultimate goal in winning this cup versus the (probable) winning goal-scorers wages....
