Not sure how many will be left

They'll need to amend that. SFL does not operate a squad number system. Back to good old 1-11 for them.

  2. Yeah, also still the outcome of the dual contacts, EBT's and the SFA appeals

Still a lot to come from old Rangers, their public humiliation is far from over.

Could it be possible that regarding the old Rangers transfer ban (and also dual contracts), part of the terms and conditions of Sevco FC gaining an SFA licence may result in them taking responsibility for the oldco’s actions and accepting the penalties?

  3. This stinks, absolutely stinks.

I'm already annoyed at the fact UEFA seed the CL to make sure the big teams all avoid each other and the same happens with FIFA and the World Cup. Now it's crept into the domestic league in Scotland and we are about to allow a club back in who should be either starting at the bottom or not at all.

My SSC membership will be returned to the SFA if there is any other outcome than Sevco starting in the SFL3 along with a scathing letter.

Doncaster is a clown too, seems to me the SPL are a money making organisation who are more worried about lining their own pockets rather than caring what any fan, chairman or club thinks.

  4. It's time for Doncaster to come out and make a statement. He's been hiding for almost the full duration of this debacle and rather than the press leaking these proposals which are causing uproar to the real fans of law abiding clubs, have the knackers to stand in front of the media and explain them to everyone.

I'm furious at the idea of "Rangers" being relegated when they aren't in existence. If the governing body cannot grasp this concept then what chance do the thousands of fans from Govan way have of ever getting their heads around it??

  5. Nicked from KDS :-

    This from FF

    I understand that.......

...........despite all the (secretive) promises to the RFFF, Green desperate to get access to this money to fund tax securities.

    What is a tax security?

In a situation like ours, once the newco starts trading, the taxman will come along and serve something called a Notice of Requirement. This means that the newco will have to put up a cash security equivalent to say 4 months vat in advance. The taxman will keep this for say 2 years, if you like insurance that the newco pays the VAT on time.

They will also do something similiar for PAYE tax.

If the security is not paid, then the newco is trading illegally, and will be closed.

Green urgently needs to find this money, as he had not considered this.

Meantime, recently failed "bidders" continue to mount there next move.

Hector - once bitten, twice shy.

HMRC introduced this from 6th April 2012

    http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/thelibrary/tax-paye/paye-securities.htm

HMRC will use securities to tackle the handful of employers who deliberately try to defraud the government. These employers:

    • deliberately choose not to pay
    • engage in phoenixism - this is where a business evades tax by becoming insolvent and then sets up a new company the next day to continue trading
    • have no qualms about building up large PAYE or NICs debts, including penalties
    • do not respond to HMRC’s attempts to contact them
