"Having said that, his signing undoubtedly boosts a forward line that can already be considered to be among the best in the country."
Are they having a laugh

Fuckin hell! I'd forgotten about them. What a cringefest that show was. Fans on "the terracing" and all. Maybe it can be revived with chico and traynor. that will surely be about their level of credibility now?

Not sure how many will be left
They'll need to amend that. SFL does not operate a squad number system. Back to good old 1-11 for them.

Yeah, also still the outcome of the dual contacts, EBT's and the SFA appeals
Still a lot to come from old Rangers, their public humiliation is far from over.
Could it be possible that regarding the old Rangers transfer ban (and also dual contracts), part of the terms and conditions of Sevco FC gaining an SFA licence may result in them taking responsibility for the oldco’s actions and accepting the penalties?

There will be a proper battle not to be relegated from SFL2 this season as it could mean missing out playing against Scotland's newest professional football side if Sevco gain promotion from SFL3.

Mike Mulraney - Alloa Chairman
Great speech. He's called it as it is. Brilliant to hear.

Regan has annoyed me so much in this that I've packed up my SSC membership pack and will be sending it back to Hampden later along with a letter explaining my reason why.

Cosgrove really giving it to Traynor and the DR just now, superb!!!

I bet Ian Black's decision announce he was to sign for newco Rangers isn't one of his best ideas.....

1424: Stuart to 80295: "We should go to the Third Division. Then we can win three more trophies we've never had before and complete the Scottish football trophy set."
From the BBC news feed!!
This fud doesn't get it, if Sevco win the 3rd Div title then that would be the 1st ever title they'd have won in their very short history.

Is it actually possible to do this? If so then I'd consider doing it even if Newco go to the 3rd division after the disgraceful way the SFA have conducted themselves throughout this whole ordeal.
It's not that I'll be hoping to get a refund as I know they wouldn't do that, it's more just to show my disgust at them for their role in this fiasco.
Swines.

This stinks, absolutely stinks.
I'm already annoyed at the fact UEFA seed the CL to make sure the big teams all avoid each other and the same happens with FIFA and the World Cup. Now it's crept into the domestic league in Scotland and we are about to allow a club back in who should be either starting at the bottom or not at all.
My SSC membership will be returned to the SFA if there is any other outcome than Sevco starting in the SFL3 along with a scathing letter.
Doncaster is a clown too, seems to me the SPL are a money making organisation who are more worried about lining their own pockets rather than caring what any fan, chairman or club thinks.

I loved the fact that he didn't even get the usual red box with his name at the bottom of the screen which all other BBC staff or important people get. BBC obviously thought he was just a random nobody rather than a BBC member of staff.
That's because he isn't, he's freelance who the BBC (for some unknown reason) choose to pay him money for his services.

If Rangers end up relegated what happens to their prize money from 2011/2012?
Rangers are dead, soon to be liquidated. They can't be relegated as they do not exist anymore

It's time for Doncaster to come out and make a statement. He's been hiding for almost the full duration of this debacle and rather than the press leaking these proposals which are causing uproar to the real fans of law abiding clubs, have the knackers to stand in front of the media and explain them to everyone.
I'm furious at the idea of "Rangers" being relegated when they aren't in existence. If the governing body cannot grasp this concept then what chance do the thousands of fans from Govan way have of ever getting their heads around it??

Just watched Brown's rally call from the doors of Ibrokex. What a deluded fool and watched and listened to by more deluded fools. There's not one sentence he says that sounds believable.
Was expecting Gazza to appear beside him with the chicken, the fishing rod & a can of lager.

If Sevco get voted into the SFL while in admin do they start on -25 points?
I would find it unlikely that a newco club with financial difficulties would be granted a licence in the professional ranks.
On the idea of Sevco 5088 going in adminitstration, it would be amusing eh?

Nicked from KDS :-
This from FF
I understand that.......
...........despite all the (secretive) promises to the RFFF, Green desperate to get access to this money to fund tax securities.
What is a tax security?
In a situation like ours, once the newco starts trading, the taxman will come along and serve something called a Notice of Requirement. This means that the newco will have to put up a cash security equivalent to say 4 months vat in advance. The taxman will keep this for say 2 years, if you like insurance that the newco pays the VAT on time.
They will also do something similiar for PAYE tax.
If the security is not paid, then the newco is trading illegally, and will be closed.
Green urgently needs to find this money, as he had not considered this.
Meantime, recently failed "bidders" continue to mount there next move.

Hector - once bitten, twice shy.
HMRC introduced this from 6th April 2012
http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/thelibrary/tax-paye/paye-securities.htm
HMRC will use securities to tackle the handful of employers who deliberately try to defraud the government. These employers:
- deliberately choose not to pay
- engage in phoenixism - this is where a business evades tax by becoming insolvent and then sets up a new company the next day to continue trading
- have no qualms about building up large PAYE or NICs debts, including penalties
- do not respond to HMRC’s attempts to contact them
