And he's back...
John Brown has claimed he has the support of former Rangers captain Barry Ferguson in his bid to help supporters gain control of the Ibrox club.
Former player Brown, who coached Ferguson in the midfielder's early days at Ibrox, has been talking to the Blackpool player in recent days about his ongoing plans to front a consortium to buy out Sevco Scotland.
He said: "I have spoken to Barry and he has promised me that he is 100% behind me. There is no doubting his commitment and his enthusiasm for my deal. But I can assure everyone how excited Barry is to be given this opportunity to do something for the club he loves."

I hate the fact clubs can shift their grounds in cases like that.
I can understand it in certain circumstances where grounds are really unsuitable, for example, non-league meeting an SPL club in the Scottish cup, but all league grounds should be able to cope with all other teams in the Scottish league.
Indeed.
So if Brechin meet Sevco in a future league game, will they ask to move it to Dens? Somehow i don't think so.

Strangely the BBC's live SPL annual meeting feed is using the text 80295 with Gers at the start

Burley's masterpiece:
Lets hope every SFL chairman reads that. Definitely a great way to influence a vote

Just to keep us going through the night. I'm actually surprised there are that many folk who would renew!
There was probably more, but they lost all that money when it went into oldco instead.

It is a shocking presentation. Pretty sure a kid in primary school could come up with better. No really surprise that there was a unanimous no vote.

Rangers investor Mazen Houssami linked to Al-Qaeda
By James Traynor and Keith Jackson
In a RecordSport exclusive, we can reveal that the Middle Eastern lawyer has connections with the notorious terrorist group responsible for numerous atrocities against the West. In fact, sources tell us that he is the new head of Al-Qaeda, following the killing of Osama Bin Laden.
Oh i so hope thats true. Maybe the yanks wil go after them and finish them off.

Absolute farce.
If this comes to pass, i will have nothing to do with Scottish football again!
And to think, I almost renewed my season ticket when Mr Thompson came out with his "No to newco"

One things for sure. When all the dust has settled, this needs to be looked into by the Scottish Government, or a report like Henry McLeish did.
The way our national bodies have acted since the start of this affair has been nothing short of embarassing.

Sevco should be lucky there getting off so lightly...
Fans of Polonia Warsaw were enraged on Tuesday after their controversial owner sold their top-flight berth to a second division side, spelling the demise of the 101-year-old club in its current form.
Wonder if this owner would be interested in doing a deal with Mr Green?
