Best place to drink before/after the game? Will be in Aberdeen about lunchtime and don't catch the train until 8 afterwards.

Plenty pubs but if you want closer to the ground then Archibald Simpsons on corner of King St/Union St will suit unless you hate spoons.

After game head to Belmont St area which is 10/15 mins max from station. Loads of pubs around

    FFS! Talk about double standards.

Aberdeen fan comes on and casts up random statement from 41 years ago to poke St. Mirren fans.

St. Mirren fan retaliates by posting a newspaper article from a mere 10 years ago accusing Aberdonians of the same crime, yet he’s the one that ought to be put on ignore.

Clearly the highly unwarranted Aberdeen arrogance stretches beyond football, to being able to say what ever you like with impunity.

Mate, St Mirren fans have infested all Aberdeen posts since the 2-2 draw. Enjoy your lofty position while you have it but chucking claims of arrogance at Aberdeen just now is laughable considering your fans obsessive posting about said team

    McInnes, Robinson, or Docherty.

    Who do Aberdeen fans prefer?

To me thats just varying degrees of McInnes so you go for the real thing tbh, but i dont know if too much water has washed the bridge away for McInnes or not.

If McInnes had stayed for another season then my season ticket was binned. If he is so great why was he unemployed for 11 months?

  4. Linesmen not raising the offside flag when it's blatantly offside is one of the worst things from var. Players are getting into needless challenges as a result. Qatar City lost a goalie thru injury because of it a few weeks a ago in the EPL.

Why doesn't the referee go straight to the monitor and watch what VAR refs are watching instead of standing around for 2mins with a finger to his ear?

It's bollocks and is re-refereeing the game.

Morning all, new poster, leaping in cos I’m raging and needing to let rip(and also cos this is a great forum 👍).

1 - Petty in the scheme of things but multiple comments about Tosh the night including someone calling him ‘yer man’. GTFO. He never came through at Aberdeen, he’s not from Aberdeen, IIRC he never even played two full seasons at Aberdeen. How this guy has somehow come to represent us and speak as though he is Aberdeen through and through is crackers.

I know folk who have been in his company and he’s apparently a top guy but no, just no. As much as opposition fan’s think he’s a joke, so do a lot of us. Sexist remarks tonight icing on the shitty cake.

2 - Worse though, multiple comments everywhere tonight about credit to Warnock changing it up. Whit? We were 3 down in 25 minutes, he had no option.

Ridiculous starting line up/formation. He’s maybe not long in the door but he has access to previous performances/records/coaching staff. Morris and McGrath as wing-backs is up there with Duff and Young in defence against Olomouc for me.

3 - in fairness to him he has an unbalanced squad and that’s on the club. How was that allowed to happen? One RB (we already knew Richardson was poor) one left back, one untested and injury prone left wingback. One winger (allegedly… and Johnny past it). How can that be? That’s not all on Robson - where’s the team backing him up allowing that? Absolute farce. Symptomatic of the operation behind the scenes.

Thought Burrows might help but **** ticket fiasco has me doubting his worth also.

4 - Everything comes back to Cormack, and no I’m not actually somebody who actively dislikes him, but by god he better get this right come the close season. Not just the manager but the whole kit and kaboodle. Warnock is an irrelevance to me, short of getting us relegated an absolute irrelevance.

Whether him/his appointment was a success or not will be judged solely on what Cormack does going forward.

That was a lot. I’m not normally so ranty but by Christ I’m at the end of my tether with our club right now.

Edit - how the hell do you reduce font on here?
Edit edit - first post and already had my first down vote without any explanation - thanks @scoobles - most welcoming I’m sure.

And I still don’t know what’s going on with the font

No problem, bit precious for your "first" downer

He's being very weird about this whole Warnock situation. There's sensationalising and just out right lying, I would put this tweet below in the latter really as I don't think I have seen an Aberdeen fan be ecstatic about the appointment just content really yet he dreams up this stuff.

Does that mean he will stop speaking about how unfairly Hearts were treated and just target Aberdeen now?

I don't tend to get too animated about plastic pitches, and it might be that this one plays ok.

By Christ, it looks awful though.

It's worse than awful. I've seen 20yr old pub carpets looking better

Last I'll say as to not deprive the Aberdeen fans a gloating session by going off topic but we had over 100 points that year, at the risk of being quoted by some statto nerd that's surely one of the highest in the past decade for overall point tallys. Lennon was shite but we were actually good that year perhaps no crowds made a difference but you wouldn't expect many title winning teams to rack up those numbers.

Tavenier and others said it was better playing at Ibrox without fans.

Beale and some players complained that the crowd got to them at Pittodrie a few months back.

They may still have won the league that year but not by so many points.

Best invest in earplugs if they want to do well in Scotland

I'm glad you mentioned this and I'd read this because after 10 minutes on catch up I was ready to throw the towel in:

Tam repeatedly mentioning the chronically unfunny Mickey Flanagan was 🤨😒, and then Stuart's awful awful "who's got the better culture, Hearts or Hibs" patter 🚮. I think it's really sad that he supports the 2nd most successful domestic team of the last decade, but he spends so much time sookin' up to Hibs because his media mates in London have adopted them because they once watched trainspotting 💩

It's well known that Cosgrove's 2nd team is Aberdeen.

Yeah, Ive been watching the final series on and off. Its finished airing in the states but I've got like 6 or 7 episodes to watch.

Its been ok, but nothing more. Im hoping they'll tie things up in a decent way at the end

They do. Last few episodes are worth it

At the start of the season, all the players line up on one side, the managers stand over on the other side, and they all get to pick one player at a time like you did for a kick about when you were a bairn, and that's how each club gets their squad for the season.

The order of the picks is decided out of a tombola.

    Unfair on Anthony Stewart
