  1. That wasn't who I was speaking about. But thanks for the information.
  2. RIP Alex There will be a few in Edinburgh that will be relieved at the timing of this.
  3. A pre-pack has to be in the best interests of the creditors and the company. Since the majority of debt is owned by a small number of creditors then a CVA would be entirely in their hands. It is clear that the creditors aren't getting their money back from the company and hence why it appears that they have transferred other assets to themselves. The other thing that is important here is that administration is hugely expensive and if the company do not have any income streams to pay for a complex admin the the administrators will be pushing to get the matter resolved quickly as they won't want to undertake work that they won't get paid for.
  4. After the Rangers debacle, it matters not a jot. The club and the company are two distinct entities within the rules so the club and their operating company can easily be split with the club being moved into a new operating entity. We don't have to like it but that is the reality. Now that it has been done once and is codified, I would expect any company operating a club would take this approach if there was no way to avoid liquidation. A pre-pack is the cleanest way of doing this.
  5. If a pre-pack has been agreed then there wouldn't be the opportunity for someone else to buy the business.
  6. Yes, the same one although I don't see why that is relevant. Getting people to convert debt for equity is entirely outside of his control (especially as he is not an officer of the company). If he is going to fund the club through admin then he will have a significant input. Let's see how it plays out.
  7. The way Savage has been speaking about controlling admin would lead me to believe that the previous discussions with the accountants would have been around doing a pre-pack. If this is the case then they would be in control of the process.
  8. I see @Alert Mongoose is showing some xenophobia here.
  9. You should have told them that when they had a manifesto commitment to create a Scottish Energy company.
  10. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ce3zwz4025zo NHS want a chip shop to serve fruit and veg!
  11. I look forward to seeing Polish added to our signage.
  12. This is nothing to do with where subsidies originated from. There has already been devolution of sorts for offshore wind and we all know that ScotGov isn't using that income to reduce energy costs.
