That hill reminds me of the fence at Meadiwbank where a sizeable contingent of our fans used to watch the game and head to pub on a regular basis

I think there might well be a re-enactment of Meadowbank when we head there Bill.

I was at Kilsyth Sportsfield in first season of Div 4 when the Rangers and then Clydebank visited.

The issues with these grounds were painfully evident.

Yup , Kilsyth was a waste of a journey , if you weren’t leaning over the rail round the park it was a rotten view of the back of many heads you got.

  3. Have to agree with the above , i thought Darvel were pretty decent tonight , they passed the ball about quickly and showed plenty desire to hunt it down when not in possession. It wasn't a vintage performance from us but its another 3pts in the bag.

    Truesdale was my MOTM

Look how happy a grown man is that he has trolled someone to the point where they just call out the nonsense

Bizarre stuff from the Talbot crew on here

He can't even hang himself with his own rope .... makes things up and touts them as fact with a total inability to back them up.... its simply impossible for him to know what we've spent and what we pay yet he makes out otherwise ... he's a silly sausage.

The Talbot groundsman better be getting a statue outside Beechwood after all this love!

Comfortably the most important employee of the club by the looks of it!

The Talbot boys seem to be more into gardening than football... King Canute trying to hold back the tide springs to mind... can see a few dropping away from the games and going watching the greens keepers at Turnberry to get their fix

Our ground suits us fine thanks 😆

They used to make a big deal of having the pitch "verti drained" on twitter , pictures and even videos.... embarrassing

It must be a slow week to be dragging all this plastic pitch nonsense up yet again .. imo if you dont like watching football on plastic then dont go.

Just watched Pollocks manager’s post match interview, has anyone checked on him, must have been some bump to the head he took?

The guy is clearly hurting big time  .. brilliant

If he thinks todays pitch was "bobbly" 🤣 wait until he goes to Shotts next week.

  7. Just wondering if there’s an app showing live scores from the West ?
move tried Futbology premium but it doesn’t seem to have it , what’s the best way to keep up with live scores and I’m hoping it’s not involving scrolling through twitter X or whatever 👍

Good to see a club investing in their ground.  The bankies or seniors whatever they want to call themselves still don’t have a seated area in their council groundshare with yoker.  While Gartcairn are investing off the the park the bankies still ground share and use the extra money for £30k between two players in Samson and Syme

    LOL .. seething 😤

With Clydebank being the biggest spenders in the league, how will they deal with the pressure.

the biggest spenders always have a target on their back.  Similar to Talbot who is every teams cup final.

there is no excuses for Clydebank not to win now outspending every team in the league.  Pressures on, how’s the bottle.

    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
