McHugh as lone striker should fill Morton fans with a deep, deep dread imo.
We’ll have big Denny fit for the start of the season hopefully so we’ll only have McHugh for friendlies and cup games. Hopefully Quitongo signs up sooner rather than later as well.0 -

On SSB last night apparently. He said if we sign more centre backs we'll have too many when players return to fitness. 5 or 6 players is too many to have in one position at this level. He also said Gunning is off the table, he's approached him several times but he doesn't want to come back.0 -

All players have been told that they could leave in the dressing room after the game, even contracted ones but none of them really know what's happened. John Hughes is away and isn't coming back and some players certain seem glad about it. Players and staff also paid off, sad sad day.

6 months ago I was shouting for Russell to be signed up on a long term contract because his firm was good and the future looked bright. He's been absolutely pish since then, plays suicide passes, can't beat a man anymore and as mentioned shites out a tackle which is not what you want from a defender, either he screws the nut or I wouldn't be bothered to see him leave.

Lindsay is a much better player than Nesbitt. Covers every blade of grass every game and never seems to tire. Would love him to stay but he'll move on to a higher level and deservedly so.

He's been out that long I forgot about him. I still think he'll move on to a higher level next season but got to put an offer on the table of course.

The money we've made from the cup runs should be used to offer Russell, Murdoch & Tidser new long term contracts.
Russell hasn't been playing great recently but we know what he's capable of and is one of the best left backs in the league.
Murdoch has absolutely bossed it since he joined. The energy he has to chase down every ball even if it's a lost cause is brilliant.
Tidser is the most talented player in our squad, hasn't played much which you can tell he's frustrated with but when he has played he's been superb. So calm and composed on the ball which has helped us massively when we've been holing out a 1 goal lead at the end of the game.
Getting these players signed up as well as the ones we already have signed up should be a solid squad for a promotion push this season with Hibs not in the league. That's if we don't go up this year of course0 -
