I’m not a supporter of either side here

So why do you appear to be taking sides?  Your comment only adds to the eternal p!sh that has nothing to do with football and unfortunately seems to have no end. I'd imagine the young laddies have no idea what they're singing about.

Glad Dundee missed their penalty because that was a ridiculously soft decision and an awful VAR intervention. Same sort of shirt pulling happens at nearly every set piece.

As for not being able to award a goal when the ball crosses the line 🫠

Is this not one of the reasons for VAR technology; to avoid cheating?  I assume the intention is to stop blatant shirt pulling at corners. Your guy was fouling in the box and got called out for it.  If the scrutiny continues it will be less prevalent your team will benefit from it also.

  3. Quite a bit of pish posted on this thread, regrettably from Dees.  This is one of the two trophies that we can actually win.  To bin it off in a strop after a slightly unfortunate defeat to Airdrie doesn't make much sense to me; we've still got two home games against lower league teams and whilst I was also surprised by Saturday's team sheet, I'm still reasonably/hopefully confident we can still get through to the next stage.

They came up in either 87 or 88 for George McGeachie and won 4-0 and again for Bobby (3-1). I didn't get to George's game but i think they basically played the starting 11 from their obscenely good 87-88 season and were magnificent.

My memory isn't what it used to be but I think McGeachie's Liverpool testimonial turned into a joint one with Jim Duffy who had a bad injury at Ibrox at the time and was never expected to play again.  Fortunately he played again.  But that could be nonsense 🙂

Was anyone on here lucky enough to get the phone call from the club today?

Am I wrong to say the club said previously that those who 1st purchased this season’s season ticket would be the 1st to return to games?

No.  And no.  Just checked, I bought 23 June.  You?

  6. It wasn't great that's for sure.  I think it's all about building confidence at the moment and there was a marked improvement today.  Not one of Kerr, McGhee or Ashcroft could have been surprised if they were left out after last week. I think Gowser's rant has been taken on board - Byrne in particular looked keener to get involved - and Sow looked to get stuck in when he came on.  If Fontaine can come close to marshalling the defence like Berra did last season we may be ok.  Next week's a biggie.

  7. IIRC when Nacho Novo scored two against us and kissed the badge (mentioned in the Tele recently) he dropped to his knees at full time giving it the "I'm not worthy" salute to both the Shankly and the derry which we'd given over.  His explanation that he'd previously got abuse doesn't wash with me I'm afraid.

  8. I really struggle to understand the pelters Curran and Davies are getting.  They got offered a contract, they accepted.  Obviously it never worked out for either of them (Davies especially) but is it their fault or the manager that signed them?  They did what everyone else would do.  Let's get over it and move on.

Oh for f**k sake man, please stop. Why don't you just stop posting about Stevie fucking May until a deal is done somewhere? You know the exact same as everyone else on here - f**k all. You've been spamming the life out of this thread by constantly contradicting yourself every 15 minutes. A couple of dabs got suspended for less recently.

Does anyone know the best method to clean blood from ones eyes?

I did advise you last night.  It worked for me and my bullshit detector has barely sparked into life today (that's a lie but I hope you know what I mean).  An easy way to avoid attention seeking bubbleheads.

  10. I came out of the game as hacked off as everyone else but said "we've not found our boo boy yet".  It now appears that it's McDaid.  Well done to the wallopers; you're smart enough to make your mind up after a few games and give him pelters for the rest of the season to convince yourselves you're right.  I'm sure that'll help his confidence and he'll play better because of it.

I saw a "heat map" of his time at Aberdeen the other day, and for them hes played as a secondary striker, who touches the ball mostly 40 yards from goal and runs the channel.

From watching Aberdeen hes told to put pressure on opposition defences to allow whatever immobile front man they've got up front to just stand still, and when hes not played there hes on the wings of a midfield four.

He might well be finished, but McInnes is absolutely fucking clueless on how to use him and he looks a far worse player because of it. Greg Stewart another example of how he has no idea how to get anything out a forward who isnt just a big lump.

Seriously, please just shut the funk up.  I'd imagine very few Dundee fans are interested in your input/conjecture.   Your seemingly endless tripe is completely irrelevant.  It's a DFC forum; your team are obviously in the pink at the moment so enjoy it without subjecting the Championship forum to your inane obsession.  You come across like an ex-girlfriend needs to have the last word.  Heat map yer arse.

So literally it is a story from a guy in a pub then?

Probably best not to state things like that as fact in case people start to question whether you're just talking shite or not.

I'm sure most people know the answer to that question already.

Looks like Kevin Holt has indeed gone back to QoS.  Exactly the type of player we need at LB but after he got hounded out of the club by "supporters" it's no surprise he's gone somewhere he's not getting pelters every week.
