Rudden needs to cut out the amateur dramatics of throwing himself to the floor when he loses control of the ball or gets touched. He would be a much better player if he battled back for the ball or showed a bit of strength.
He is a poor mans Steve Lovell, his first touch wasn't the best at times but he could finish.

The main advantage of Docherty is that he's not Ian Murray.
Or Tam Courts or Calum Davidson.

Spot on. It’s the set up WGS has been hankering for. The issue is that Strachan will still be remote from the dressing room and the day-to-day man-management of the players. I’ve got no doubts about Docherty’s coaching and tactical credentials but can he instill the type of “I’d walk through walls for him” belief into a group of players?
Also, if you were a bit surprised by this appointment, just wait until the “number two” gets announced.
Spill the beans!

Anybody know what was getting shouted every time he touched the ball , I was in the Derry and it sounded like boos or shoot , but don’t know , he must’ve touched the ball about 6 times when he came on and daughter asked me why they were booing Shaun
I heard that as well, christ knows what it was about. Fans know best it seems.

Not getting this obsession with byrne playing, we were 3-1 up when he came on so didn't really miss him.

Scotland were great last night but the best thing for me was they weren't playing 'out of their skin'. That was a solid performance where everyone played to their strengths. Put that team under any significant pressure and the response would be phenomenal.
I know that the qualifying routes have changed over the last 22 years but I can't help feeling that almost all of those campaigns, had they been successful would have seen us sneak into finals, with the accompanying feeling that it was enough just to get there.
The consistency shown in this campaign since Steve Clarke arrived has given me real confidence. Made me feel that we are a team that can compete regardless of the opposition or the occasion.
We might not win the Euros but it won't be because of some freak result.
This is a new type of Scotland.
Spot on,we were comfortable for 89 minutes last night until the corner. Best performance for years.

Think we should have a national day of mourning for him leaving, some of the comments on social media have been mental.
