  1. This time last year, Andrew Strauss was supposedly fighting for his international career before making a big score vs NZ. Now, after making a couple of hundreds vs India he looks odds on to be England captain.

    Funny old world.

  2. Moores should have been sacked several series ago, it was obvious from very early on that he was going to be pretty hopeless as head coach.

If Pietersen does walk away from the scene completely, then England are going to sink beyond the top 5 or 6 best teams because without him their batting lineup is spineless. I mean, you would be as well surrendering at the start than relying on the likes of Cook, Bell and Prior to perform when the going get tough.

  3. What Just Happened?

A strange film, with a strange ending.

De Niro's character seems happy enough at the end, even though things went mostly tits up. He seemed on quite good terms with his estranged wife even though she was sleeping with one of his colleagues, and the original ending of Brunell's film was snuck into the final cut. The shaving of Willis' beard also goes unexplained.

    Was quite funny though.

    6/10

  4. Another bowler is a must to take the pressure off Flintoff. He's bowled 24 overs FFS, no wonder he's always injured.

Put Flintoff at number 6, ditch Collingwood and put either Jones, Tremlett, Hoggard (what did he do so wrong to be ostracised in this way?) or even Bopara in.

  5. Anderson is still to hit-and-miss to be a top international bowler. He goes for far too many runs, which is highlighted more so when he doesn't take wickets.

As regards Vaughan, if he wasn't such a good captain, he'd be out the side already. His batting has deteriorated without halt ever since he became captain.
