Great to have Darvel in the league again this season. Irrespective of what the spend is or what they propose to spend. They add great value to the league in terms of their set up and playing style which has been achieved in a relatively short time.

All the while remaining magnanimous whether they win, lose or draw. The challenge is for the rest of us to clip their wings.

Weather permitting its a busy week at Townhead with Cumnock playing on Tuesday, Ayr Under 18s v Rangers on Friday and Cumnock Amateurs on Saturday. First class community facility and regularly commended for set-up and inclusive opportunities for the community. Long may it continue.

A performance?!!Cumnock were very poor against a second string Lok outfit and scraped an injury time winner in a very very poor match where a draw would have been accurate.Cumnock always raise their game at Newlandsfield after usually being very poor at home.Cumnock will end up lower half of the table as usual and wee Tony won’t have done anything to change that.

We couldn't buy a win prior to Tony Mac coming in, throwing away silly goals every game. The way we were playing I don't think any Cumnock man would have expected Tony to get us up around mid table by the end of the season, only that he avoids relegation and builds for next season. Think that's about five clean sheets in the last six weeks.

Looking at the teams yesterday I thought Polloks 1st 11 and players on the bench looked pretty strong but again you seem to come up short given the ability Pollok have to entice players to the club.

I agree burns was the right man stability is needed. Still the best player but it must be a hard situation going back as a player as ultimately the players already there let him down .

Utter pish, Cumnock cannae see by the local hero nonsense, tried that with Bobby McCulloch and never learned the lesson, having Scott McCulloch in the dug out was a strange call, only ever coached under 8s, club really need a wake up call, on the park they are heading down the way, aff the park they are only proper up by grants, committee in there that could nae tell yeah the shape of a ball never mind how to kick one

Any grants received are through the Enterprise not specifically to Cumnock Juniors Football Club or into players pockets. In terms of the committee, they are more or less newly formed having already made a huge difference off the park.
