Attended Buckie v Forres last nigh. The Can Cans were the better side in the first half hour, before Buckie started to get a foothold. Spider obviously tore them apart at half time and they came out a different team in the second half - on another day they could’ve had 5 in that second half. I was reasonably impressed with Forres, though, and think that they may take some scalps this season. I thought Dylan Lawrence, on loan from Elgin, was particularly impressive.

Aye that’s a fair summary. The Jags had chances in the first half but Forres thwarted them. Second half we took on star striker Josh Peters and he was brilliant 3-1 a fair score in the end.
Forres did well and will pose problems for the good teams we have had a really good start and fancy us strongly to continue that at Formartine on Saturday

If Doak is good enough to come off the bench for Liverpool at Chelsea then he’s good enough to do the same for Scotland at the very least

He will surely get a call up to the next squad

Totally agree a call up is a must

Watched the game tonight. When he's got the ball at his feet and is one on one, the defender doesn't stand a chance.

Love Gilmour, but I haven't been this excited by a Scottish kid since... ever!

Totally agree I realise this is just friendlies but am sure Doak will be a Liverpool sub at least. Scotland call up surely in September

This is what I find strange he is getting a decent amount of game time off the bench but 3 other players starting ahead of him so far this pre season and Zinchenko still to come back in.

Aye KT needs to get a new club before end of august . It’s crazy he’s even second pick against the Ukrainian lad

Since they started broadcasting the early rounds they have been to Kelty, Bonnyrigg, Linlithgow, Dundonald, Queen's Park, Dundee, Berwick, Clydebank and Brechin. The Pollok game the other night was only the third one scheduled for the Glasgow area in that entire period.

Shocking no live games for Highland League grounds in all this time. Buckie v Broomhill sounds like a cracking tie to come to

  6. Was at the game last night the whole night was brilliant. Team was outstanding including the 2 fullbacks who pushed up the park at every opportunity. The goalie looked very solid and we’ve still his Australian chum at right back to come in. Fancy us to get through this tie shame away goals don’t count double these days as a cleansheet at home used to be priceless

My abiding memory of the Vitesse game at Tannadice is the utterly bizarre celebration after one of their goals (turns out from watching the video it was the second).

I still don't know how to describe it, but it's at about 3.20 for anyone who wants to avoid the rest of the horror.

Watched it in Arab archive that game was a nightmare but also some great memories fae the Ither euro ties ☺️

Even though Banks O' Dee will beat Nairn very easily, I'm still looking forward to visiting a new ground, although I imagine Spain Park will soon become a very regular destination for Nairn.

Dinna rule your team out of the match Banks only beat Turriff 1-0 in the last round
